when he forced himself to stay alive for a couple more seconds bruh... and for the soundtrack team you really did it man all y'all amazing did it perfectly also i hope an ochestra team amateur or professional picks this song up and do it damn...
i feel like this ost matches the tragedy of corazon perfectly. until 1:18, the song is very somber. it’s like of like cora knowing and accepting the fact that he’s dying, and it’s a little reflective. kind of like he’s thinking back to his whole life and pondering over everything that happened. from 1:18 to 1:27, i think cora is close to dying, but he knows that he needs to hang on a little longer for law, and so he steels his resolve and does his best to stay conscious. the solemn music conveys this feeling perfectly. from 1:27 to 1:53, i think this ost cuts to law, with him hiding in the treasure chest and finding an opening to escape. it’s the riskiest part of the escape, therefore the serious and anxiety inducing music. from 1:53 to 2:38, for me, is the most heart-wrenching part of the ost. there’s so much grief and sorrow, yet it carries a hint of hope. it’s signifying corazon’s life’s end, and the beginning of law’s life. i believe this is the part where law is getting further and further away from doffy’s grasp. this is continued until 3:02, but after 2:38, there is almost an angelic, from-heaven-above element to the song. it feels hopeful and bright, if it makes sense. since there clearly is some religious undertone to law’s backstory (seen from the sister and the monastery), it’s signifying both law’s salvation, and cora’s ultimate sacrifice, in my opinion. from 3:02 to 3:23, i think this bit of the ost is completely focused on cora, as the angelic choir becomes louder, and more prominent. the song no longer feels somber, but almost joyous and peaceful. i think this is when cora finally died, and in a way, ‘ascended to heaven’ kind of thing. also can be interpreted as law finally freed from his sickness, doffy, and the overwhelming darkness from the past 3 years (probably a little more than that, seeing that the events on flevance didn’t occur overnight, and people had been getting sick gradually) this might not seem big, but i think the little bit after 3:23 is very powerful in bringing the narrative back to law, as cora has already passed. this tiny bit sounds mournful, which perfectly mirrors law’s overwhelming grief. also another observation from the anime, when cora died, there’s a scene specifically showing cora being partially covered in snow. i think it symbolises cora’s ultimate sacrifice, and dying in law’s place, as law had his discoloured patches of skin from amber lead. cora’s death really is as devastating as it is so poetic. all in all, this ost is probably one of my favourite, if not just full on favourite ost from one piece. it’s so powerful and it helps set and convey the scene of cora’s death so beautifully. one piece really is peak anime

This song brings me to tears every time. The flute and the bells set up the strings for a complex transition into the most somber string melody. The trap-like drums give it some flavor then the finale is this big beautiful orchestral overture at the end. You almost feel like flying at the end. and for the soundtrack team you really did it man all y'all amazing did it perfectly
also i hope an ochestra team amateur or professional picks this song up and do it damn...
i feel like this ost matches the tragedy of corazon perfectly.
until 1:18, the song is very somber. it’s like of like cora knowing and accepting the fact that he’s dying, and it’s a little reflective. kind of like he’s thinking back to his whole life and pondering over everything that happened.
from 1:18 to 1:27, i think cora is close to dying, but he knows that he needs to hang on a little longer for law, and so he steels his resolve and does his best to stay conscious. the solemn music conveys this feeling perfectly.
from 1:27 to 1:53, i think this ost cuts to law, with him hiding in the treasure chest and finding an opening to escape. it’s the riskiest part of the escape, therefore the serious and anxiety inducing music.
from 1:53 to 2:38, for me, is the most heart-wrenching part of the ost. there’s so much grief and sorrow, yet it carries a hint of hope. it’s signifying corazon’s life’s end, and the beginning of law’s life. i believe this is the part where law is getting further and further away from doffy’s grasp.
this is continued until 3:02, but after 2:38, there is almost an angelic, from-heaven-above element to the song. it feels hopeful and bright, if it makes sense. since there clearly is some religious undertone to law’s backstory (seen from the sister and the monastery), it’s signifying both law’s salvation, and cora’s ultimate sacrifice, in my opinion.
from 3:02 to 3:23, i think this bit of the ost is completely focused on cora, as the angelic choir becomes louder, and more prominent. the song no longer feels somber, but almost joyous and peaceful. i think this is when cora finally died, and in a way, ‘ascended to heaven’ kind of thing. also can be interpreted as law finally freed from his sickness, doffy, and the overwhelming darkness from the past 3 years (probably a little more than that, seeing that the events on flevance didn’t occur overnight, and people had been getting sick gradually)
this might not seem big, but i think the little bit after 3:23 is very powerful in bringing the narrative back to law, as cora has already passed. this tiny bit sounds mournful, which perfectly mirrors law’s overwhelming grief.
also another observation from the anime, when cora died, there’s a scene specifically showing cora being partially covered in snow. i think it symbolises cora’s ultimate sacrifice, and dying in law’s place, as law had his discoloured patches of skin from amber lead. cora’s death really is as devastating as it is so poetic.
all in all, this ost is probably one of my favourite, if not just full on favourite ost from one piece. it’s so powerful and it helps set and convey the scene of cora’s death so beautifully. one piece really is peak anime
only in one piece can word like 'smile' have so many layers of complexity
Which complexity you are talking about?
@@dhruvparmar4061 a few reasons below :)
SMILE- the will of D, character who have that name smile upon death.
SMILE- the name of the synthetic devil fruit.
Sub reason- named as forced eaters to smile.
SMILE- corazons smile & influence on Law.
@@Lostonthetrack ohh you're right
It’s such beautiful irony giving the character with noise cancellation the most powerful and moving ost. How touching.
My thoughts exactly. He had a power that revolved around complete silence and yet this piece is one of the most melodic in all of One Piece.
That's beautiful
"See you in the next town. Law.. I love you."
"Seems like the rain you enjoyed so much... finally lit up"
- Senor Pink
3:04 one of the very few times I've actually shed a tear while watching a show.
Corazon was only shown in Law's backstory and in flashbacks but he still became not only one of my favorite One Piece characters, but one of my favorite characters in all of anime
Good night sweet prince, and may a flight of angels send thee to thy sleep!
I dont care if he did not have the power of the supernovas or yonko crew members. He is an absolute badass in every way
We still remember you in 2020 Cora-san
One of the coolest and most kind-hearted characters in all of One Piece
And in 2022
Happy Birthday Rosinante, I love you and I miss you so much. Rest in peace angel 💔
When I saw the scene, I didn't cry a lot. But now, when I'm listening to this music, it feels like a hidden trauma
This song brings me to tears every time. The flute and the bells set up the strings for a complex transition into the most somber string melody. The trap-like drums give it some flavor then the finale is this big beautiful orchestral overture at the end. You almost feel like flying at the end. It’s sad and sweet all at the same time in equal parts. This song is of utmost importance to me not for my listening pleasure but for my soul
Mad MAAAAAD respect for Corazon and Senor Pink...
When I hear this song, I am thinking about how was the corazon saves Law and death and also Law crying sadly... It just sad scene... 😭
Man his death was so emotional, especially when he used the stfu stfu fruit on law🥺
🤣🤣🤣
a magic song for a magic character ❤
I've never cried so much after hearing law voice.
1:53 and onward has a similar vibe as "Tears of Life" from the first Pokemon movie
One of the best characters in One Piece
This isn’t like some exaggerated way of expressing my sadness but cora-san’s death tore me apart and it took me a month to start forgetting about how painful it was
I finally found it. I've been searching for this theme for years man 😭😭
Please...don't go..corasan....
:'(
most beautiful character and ost of one piece
This song gives me gosebumps 😭I always cry when I hear it
Seriously this character will always be in my heart. I love you Rosinante ! True hero !!
*Corazon falls.*
Normal People: *Laughter mixed with crying.*
Me: *Sadness is now physical.*
Fucking blessed Oda introduces, an at first glance, silent, evil character in pyjamas who turns out to be clumsy and funny yet brutal but then again funny and warm hearted just to make us love him as fast as possible, just to quickly take him away from us again.
7 episodes are enough to make him as one of my favorite character
At 3:10 is when my tears dropped when I first heard this
"Seem like the rain that you like so much... has stopped"
I really don't like torturing myself like this but I think we all admit that laws past was sad
. Even more reason for him to join the straw hats.. Cause he'd have loyal friends who would protect him.. I think of the moment he was escaping and crying while no one could hear him.. And finally when corazon finally died he screamed and he knew that corazon was dead and couldnt even go and see him... 😭😭😭😪And so he just left crying... Knowing that he was all alone
Whoever wrote this song created a master piece.. My favourite part is from 1:53.. Its truly art

When you hear Law crying and you realize it is the exact moment Corazon die .... man it got me everytime
Gives me the chills every time I hear this.
I literally lost it when we started hearing Law's cry. :((( 💔
One piece got one of the best soundtracks. It's to the point where it's at the same league as JoJo.
1 million views, epic milestone been about a year since I watched the episode he died in. I was tearing up when he died 💔
