wow you can see how this couldve been a much different record if it never landed in ocasek's hands. the perfect twist of fate to essentially fuse this with the cars. this also kinda explains the corny excesses of the remaining 80% of the band's career. they weren't actually ironically uncool. just uncool. really interesting demo.
