Interesting experiment and it worked out really good. The colours go together really well and I bet the metallics pop against the black background. I like the little bird in the bottom right corner. Nice one my friend.
Thank you Paul can’t wait till you see this next one …. It might be a cool way to to lay down some ribbons…. Although I can see the use of silicone in this because it does grab on to the negative space in a cool way the one I did this morning had no silicone and it’s different
Love the color choices! Wondering about using your technique but using a ‘softer’ background. Obviously, it won’t be the shadow effect you were going for-just a thought-Since this gave me a shore/ocean vibe, thinking of using a rich blue or even a white. Nice!!
Thank you Nancy and yes without the silicone definitely more ribbon like …. Just did one and left out the silicone to see just that and it is a different pour kind of without the silicone
Thank you Milky and yes I guess so ….I had stumbled across it in one of my notebooks figured I’d give it a shot…. the one I did this morning is cool too so we might have something guess we will see❤️❤️❤️
Thank you and great question the paint is a mixture of my pouring medium which is American floetrol and water mixed 70/30 than I add in the paint at a 2/1 ratio of pouring medium to paint and than for this specific pour I added 1 to 2 drops of silicon e to each mixed paint…… sorry that was a lot of info❤️

Thank you Anna and definitely do not need to use just black as the shadow …. I do just do one with blue shadow and no silicone and it is beautiful
Wonder how different the outcome would be without the silicone? Maybe more ribbon like? Such a cool experiment with lots of possibilities

Wow! Did you invent this design because I've never seen anyone else ever do something like this? It's beautiful. Happy Thanksgiving!

Great painting! What exactly does the paint mixture consist of other than paint and silicone? Is it just those two?
