I ran into the same issue. I only see PNG, JPG and GIF. If I find a solution, I'll reply again. I have Photoshop 24.
@@WRONGODONGO in version 22+ the export to svg was removed in default setting. you have to enable it manually: EDIT > PREFERENCES > EXPORT > enable "Legacy export as" > OK and restart photoshop

By white selection (direct selection) tool I can modify paths e.g. How can I modify the shapes by colors here in Ps? Is it via channels? Eps-file would be in groped 8 layers with compound clipping masks in Ai, that you can modify.
Yes You can edit the color of the final result by double-clicking the shape layers' thumbnails and also edit it via the pen tool or direct selection tool.

When i try to use the 'multicolour vectoriser' it comes up with many dots and i am unable to clear the document. Any help?

and a million points on the contours...
these points result from the pixels at the edges of a very low-quality image. You can hide them by reordering the layers. just drag the layers with these dots at the very bottom in the layers panel.
BTW I've just updated the action to reduce this problem to its most.

remove a background - click on the 'padlock' at the layer to unlock it, scroll down the properties, click remove background. if not satisfied, undo it, then click on the magic wand, adjust the tolerance to ur desire, click on the backgroud, then click backspace. as easy as ABC
