No one is talking about it but they revealed who Ethan is in season 2. He draws a picture for Victor who initially refuses to accept it becausehe onlydraws things of the past or those whom died, then Ethan tells him he must take the picture if he wants to go with them to the diner. And yet Ethan drew himself wearing a bright YELLOW shirt. Obviously we now know they are spiritual brothers in some form. Ying and Yang, one on a path of light, the other Darkness. Boyd and Ethan are representations of the rule of 3. Man In Yellow is the past, Boyd will be the Man in Yellow of the present, and Ethan will be the future. Ethan tells Julie shes a storywalker and she's the one who saved Boyd by throwing the rope, and the first appearance of the MIY is when Julie time travels and he rips her fathers throat. Binge watching the show from season 1 to 3 just this week you notice Ethan and Boyd are the only 2 characters that wear yellow throughtout the entire series.
He's also the voice that spoke to Jim in season 1 about Tabitha digging the hole. On top of that, it seems that whenever someone in the show has referenced to a "him" (boy in white, him being angry with he radio tower etc.) it seems to be that it'll be that guy in yellow I just have this horrid f-ing feeling that the end of the episode is now a sign that the monsters can roam the woods during the day. Which would tie into why it's such a problem that the trees are moving, and why Victor has always been so obsessed with it, because he probably experienced a time when the monsters did roam in the daytime, after his mother remembered who she was There have also been references to "the town being safe" even though the danger of the town has always been the same as that of anywhere in the from place, as long as there is a form of talisman and a shelter, and before the talismans everywhere was just as safe and dangerous. So why is the town referred to then as the "safe place" well maybe it's because, now that they're closer to saving the children, the monsters will roam at day in the forest, but they will still only be able to roam the town at night. But that the encroaching forest will take more and more of that safety from them
@@fvoarin1307 We've always known that the Talismans are not "monster kryptonite". The monsters always make a point of throwing the Talisman on the floor each time they get inside a place. We've seen that three times now- at Frank's, the medical building and at Colony House. As to the "massacre" that happened when Victor was a little boy, I think what we actually saw was the aftermath of everyone in town lining up to go through a Farway Tree then falling out of the sky like the rock Victor showed Ethan. I think the people fell to earth and the monsters picked them off- disemboweling each broken person at nightfall. I think Boyd prevented just such a mass fatality event with his speech
Proof of Julie is a Time Traveler(Story Walker). Remember in Season 1 when they were running to Colony House one of the Monsters said "Julie, you don't recognize me?" Julie, Randle, and Mer are special to the town in some way. Julie is a Story Walker, the Monsters wanted to keep Randle the time Boyde took the keys, and Mer we don't know yet, but highly sus.
Great episode! Great reaction! I feel bad for Elgin though cus truthfully, it was for nothing and truth be told, Elgin most likely DID save Fatima by providing her what she needed for the “baby”. Had she stayed in the shed, who knows what would’ve happened to her
Dude gave new meaning throat goat. Hehehe. But seriously though, what ever happened to the Sheriff's plan to catch one of the creatures? They just gonna leave hanging like that?
Great episode.. crazy ending.. poor Jim.. he wasnt my favorite character but dang... shoutout to tool woman Sara putting the final uninstall of Elgin's eye.. maybe next season he will be sleepwalking drinking blood out of a skull 🤣🤣🤣.. if Julie is a Story Walker I wonder what some of these other people can do now.. great reaction video.. love this show and watching you guys watch the episodes after 👍🏼👍🏼🔥🔥🔥
I was so mad when they didn't just follow Elgin to Fatima... like why interrogate him at all? - I don't say nothing about Elgin bc the boy is autism coded, he's a bit slow but they didn't have to do him like that. could've been avoided with common sense and that annoyed me. man... this is giving cosmic horror to me now. the "man in yellow" they stuck in Carcosa fr lmfao #Jim lol I also thought the song should've been the outro melody bc that would've been cool - def knew Fatima was punishment for the death of Smiley/the timing was to perfect and she's barren. but the plot holes are aplenty so who knows - the ultrasound didn't show the creature/so they are 100% getting toyed w my the town at every turn.
i got the opposite impression. he doesnt seem slow or autistic at all. he was low key sliding up to every woman in town and every time he did he wasnt awkward and very aware of other peoples emotions. hes just being manipulated by dark forces. following him discreetly would have been smarter but also these people arent ninjas. i think theres a high chance they would have been spotted. one of them had parkinsons, one was a fat old lady, one was a guy who kept screaming "wheres my wife. and they didnt know for sure he was going to her until they saw what was in his bag. and yeah i think theres something important regarding the ambulance equipment. they made a big show of the AED and the ultrasound. it seems the technology they have is compromised by dark forces as well. phone, juke box, the radio they built, etc. kristis GF seems very unbothered compared to julie and randall. perhaps shes also comrpomised and randall giving himself impromptu shock therapy would have actually succeeded in getting rid of his affliction. and lol jim is frustrating. just run, they can only walk. didnt even buy time for julie because she was waiting for him to run too. Rest in piss jim.
@@nullakjg767 they all didn't need to follow him and they know that place better than Elgin, imo they could've followed him just fine (maybe chill on the fat-shaming and ablism? The creepy Man In Yellow was the subject of one of Miranda's paintings that were in Henry's basement.
I caught that too
