I just upgraded my 2008 for a 2016 HSE NOT SPORT, I didn’t like the sport. I have to drive the big bodies! While I love my 2008, the body style, nothing compares to the 2016 (mine has 24k miles on it, brand new basically) it is the ULTIMATE SUV DRIVING EXPERIENCE AND IM SO HAPPY!!test drove it back in February, I didn’t know HOW I was going to get it, but God blesses me. It is simply AMAZING!! It’s not as heavy, and feels like your driving a car with POWERFUL SUV capabilities!
Ok so firstly VOGUE is a trim level as is Autobiography (top of the range). The Range Rover is L405 and the Sport is the L494 model description! If you wanna look like a drug dealer or wannabe gangster buy the sport, if however, you want the top line beast of an all rounder in every way and have some class about yourself buy the big guy!! It has everything you could ever want in a vehicle, it has park assist, all round cameras and sensors, fridge, rear tv’s, opening pan roof, electric & heated everything, is absolutely amazing to drive and kicks the arse of Focus ST’s all day long! (My favourite pastime 🤣). The 4.4 V8 picks up its skirt and throws this 2.6 tonne monster towards 60mph in 5.8 secs which is quite astounding whilst sitting watching Homes Under The Hammer and drinking a cup of tea!!!! The new ones are JLR/TATA Steel built and are as reliable as you can get!!!! The ones from MY18 onwards are having issues with the tech as the two screens are susceptible to regular failures so this model group (13-17) is the best one to get! Best £36k I’ve ever spent! 👍🏻😎
Agree with everything you said, If you wanna look like a drug dealer our new money buy a sport, if you wanna look decent everywhere you go just buy a proper RR, As long as it has a towbar and no stupid alloys ( the smallest size diameter the better). It a nice work tool, END OF.
Explain how the sport makes you look like a drug dealer? Actually that would be the opposite perception. A drug dealer would likely go for the top of the line for status where as the sport is less for show and more for practicality. I have the sport and don’t look like a drug dealer. However my wife and her fleet of cars you would assume she was but we are just hard working ppl like most.
bosshogg1155 Thats a fair comment however most, not all, RR Sports are “murdered out” blacked out everything , aftermarket everything else leading to sense of chav, cheesiness if you will?! Drug dealers are business people they’re not gonna spend their “hard-earned” on top line motors when they want the badge but not the dent to the account. Also they are hardly discreet so not gonna blow £100k just to have it seized by the police or burnt out by a rival?!?! It’s a perception thing don’t take it personally but a full size (legit) RR is a statement, it stands out in the LR dealer car park amongst the rest....... Class NOT crass!!! Just my opinion that is all 👍🏻😎
Mint low mileage L322 4.4 TDV8 and a Bentley Flying Spur, job sorted, both have twice the class in my eyes and can be had both for £20K easily so both come into the £40K price point (decent examples at that too)
But 2 important questions 1: What is the difference in leg room on the middle row between the two? I am 6'4" (194cm) tall. A lot of my mates are over 6" as well. Is there much of a difference or is the difference negligible? 2: Which one will be most comfortable on long journeys? Let's say 3 or more hours of driving on not the smoothest roads in the world. I do like a dynamic feel, but comfort is in this case more important.
I’m 6’10, but some of the guards on my basketball team are short like you. You would be just fine in a RR Sport. There are a few short guys on the team who drive one and they like it a lot.
Not a lot of mention of or testing of the off road capability! If you just want to go to the shops or school run...Corolla or Mondeo will do just fine. A very poor “car review” if it could even be called that! Is the suspension system robust enough for three tonne towing regularly? How does the payload compare?
Is It Fast? Change your mind is right lmaooooo, what a fruit loop you are at the end of your video you said the SPORT now you talking vogue??? What a nut-job 🥜 😆
Nice video just a quick question why did you review an older model version of the Big Range Rover and the Range Rover Sport with the outdated slow laggy sat nav infotainment system? did you think about getting a newer 2018 or 19 model year of both cars to borrow from a Main dealership of Jaguar Land Rover for filming with the latest in car tech such as the Touch Duo infotainment system for example as an up to date example of what the cars are like right now when you buy from a Main dealership a Brand new top of the range Range Rover Autobiography and Range Rover Sport?
Why would you compare Land Rover's Sport model to its flagship luxury car? As far as ergonomics, the seats and steering wheel are adjustable. And you don't buy a LR because of the price, or gas milage.
Nick Ashby Vogue is the entry spec on the full size Range Rover, then it’s the SE and the top spec is the Autobiography, there are also models called Westminster and SV Autobiography. The Sport has HSE, HSE Dynamic, Autobiography and SVR.
@@georgecaldero7783 you're asking because you think the car someone drives is an extention of themself. If you want to pay double for an unreliable oversized car be my guest. Just don't let the car you drive go to your head.
you got a beautiful piece of machenary to film and 90% of the video is the the zoomed in dudes face...

Does the non sport seem much taller than the sport? I like being high.
How is the reliability on it? we are planning on buying a 2017 vogue but not certain.

What engine was in the sport? Short on detail and no shots of the interior of either car.
Its a Vogue & sport
Why you calling it autobiography?
Can get sport in autobiography spec aswel...
Great video! Been thinking about which to buy and looks like I am going to test drive a sport.
I have both and the vogue is the baby , sport is not in the same league but still a great car
Must admit....I would have either and keep changing my mind but at the moment, have to agree, the Vogue is the one for me.
Is It Fast? Change your mind is right lmaooooo, what a fruit loop you are at the end of your video you said the SPORT now you talking vogue??? What a nut-job 🥜 😆
Wow, I bought my Sport for 60k and it's very sad to see it drop to 30-40k
xASM ouch! I bet that hurts. On the flip side, least you’ve got a great SUV to get about in 😊 thanks for your comment!
They still a lot over 40 when new you probably can get one just around 40 after two years second hand
In which country?
Great review.
The vogue is a car to be driven in while the sport is a self drive.
What’s the offices color of the RR autobiography?
Strange comparison how about mercedes c180 vs s63 amg ?
What’s the vogue like to park?
My Hair Plan actually not that bad. The cameras and beepers make it easier but it doesn’t change the sheer size of the thing!
I agree

Speedbird2037 probably cus he was working to a budget of £40K
How can the Sport be better round town being only 1mm narrower and 306mm shorter?
I'll take the proper Range Rover any day.
How about going for x5?
X5 is the better SUV & the range rover will never be out of the garage
I saw you more than I saw the car :/

Neither is £40,000 lol
The autobiography is not a car to drive. It's a car to be driven in.
That’s the worst part about these vehicles…the gay and cringe fan base that say ridiculous things such as this

You mean vogue vs sport.
Nick Ashby vogue is the lowest trim level out 3 for the Range Rover the big range Range Rover is called The Range Rover not the vogue
@@dipsysidhu1233 If its the lowest trim level then you cant buy just a "Range Rover" Vogue, Sport, Velar, Evoque.
