Totally forgot to mention towing capacity which is quite good at 5,511lbs (2500kg) in the P400 and 5,291lbs (2400kg) in the P250! And also to clarify... the road we film on is not a 50km/hr speed limit but for whatever reason the Velar kept saying it was.
Nice presentation Ian. The Velar is undoubtedly one of my favourite cars ever, that I'll probably never own, the reputation of Land Rover gives me no peace of mind.
Yo Ian that's a pretty dope presentation man. I even loved it when you did you madza 3 review. Love the car unfortunately like you said it's a step in the wrong direction. This is a tall ask I know but can you please do more reviews. People who are excellent with reviews I find it hard to connect with them personally while watching them. (redline reviews, carwow, auto trader etc) but your natural style is so connected man. Thank you
Even after 7 years essentially unchanged, it’s a great looking vehicle. Interior changes are a step backwards (as is the case with most cars these days), and JLR reliability will still be a concern.
Big Fan here! I would love to see yall’s take on the brand new Mercedes Benz CLE450 4Matic please. Affordable luxury coupes literally don’t get an ounce of attention any more. Per usual great review!
I have a new 2024 model but the p250. I wasn’t paying that price for the p400. Do I like it, it’s ok. Would I buy one again likely not. Truly my Audi I had before it seemed like it was such a more solid car. There’s just better options out there. Cadillac for example has been killing it with their SUV designs and they’re cheaper. I won’t lease a RR again after it’s up. It’s like they put all there money into the sport and above model trims.
Great looking exterior, Interior dash looks like shit. Totally agree, they should have kept physical buttons. I would opt for the F-Pace over this due to the interior
This car looks great but why do people spend such crazy amounts for a vehicle that's notorious for breaking down? Incredible what people will do to be "seen" and have a big label.
This makes me incredibly sad. The velar used to be my dream car but Range Rover has drastically increased the price on all of their cars while lowering quality. Wish they would bring back the V8 for the velar.
Wait…it’s a hybrid, its a turbocharged , it’s supercharged, shares a platform with a Jaguar and Tata Motors put it together! What could possibly go wrong?
You have all Camera options for4x4 safe maneuvering and it has plenty of power. But it sounds like you dont like the luxury interior. Cheap parts and shit. But they don't break, and if you just read the instruction booklet, then you have more problems... you people who review a car that dont read the instructions
Land Rover has the amazing capability of destroying their own product's success. The old Velar was close to perfection design wise, the "new" Velar looks cheaper and worse. The AC buttons are gone and that was a TERRIBLE design choice. The dual exhaust tips at the rear also looked amazing now it's just some cheap plastic covering it. All I ask is WTF LR designers are on to think this is a better product? It's NOT! Are they r3tarded to think that price costs are going to make someone say "wow it's better now"? Well, the only decent design choice was the rear taillights but it's so subtle that makes almost zero difference. As much as I love the Velar and I think it's not my next choice anymore, even if you pay more and get the Range Rover Sport you'll still face the same problems, so I pass. I'll probably get new Audi Q5 which I have high hopes for it.

Great job bro & I think I consider buying this.

I absolutely love your guys transparency and humor! I trust this channel 100 percent!
Well done Ian! 👏🏽 loved it!!!!
Thanks so much!!

Yeah it looks incredible, just give us buttons! 😂
I really enjoy watching acceler8 videos, you guys always crushing it🔥🔥🔥.
I've learned a lot about car because of your videos.
Thank you we appreciate that!
Good video again Ian!
Great review! But sadly Range Rover cheaped out way too much. It's embarrassing at that price point.
Thanks!
That center shifter area looks sooo unbelievably cheap.
It’s almost as if it’s too minimalist so it looks barren…
Yeah not too “luxury” looking
One of the best honest reviews
I love sporty suvs, but i do kinda dislike 20+ rims because as you said, its too much and you start to feel everything.

Every reviewer, it has apple carplay, DOES it have android auto?
Yep, sorry, yes it has Android Auto! (Wireless)
i've the P400.. the performance exceeded my expectations, very fast and powerful for the weigh. the best
@acceler8tv. The cup holders can be hidden by pulling the hand rest forward. Its a small trick. ;)
I like it with no buttons. It looks simple. Whereas with buttons, it seems complex and disorganised in a way if I may say...
Come back Mike velar is waiting for you😊
Not much different than my rdx, for so much more money and power. I might buy one though.
What is that interior?😂 You know something is wrong, when cheaper economy cars have better looking interiors than a luxury suv.
Would be nice if you can review other Velar with smaller engines and compare it to the launched X3
🔻The Range Rover✨Velar is one of my all time💫favourite. Top notch video 🙌🏼Can you please try to make a video on 🔺Mazda 3 GT turbo Sedan style.
GEELY - Starray 2024 has the same features as this Velar with 1/8 of the cost
Ian seems to be a bit passive and calm
Yeah lol.

Loved the review. Hate the car. #PhysicalButtonsMatter #SaveTheButtons

In Australia they are starting from 145k ..

What could possibly go wrong?
It was always my favorite, it's a shame they now come out with those stupid 20+ inch wheels and rear steering.
You don't have to take the 20+ inch wheels
5.95 seconds to 0-60 less than 1 second better than mine 46k CX-50 2.5 Turbo.. WTH..
SAVE THE BUTTONS❗❗ 🔳 🔳
!!!!!!
Wow,
That almost the same speed as Toyota Rav4 gr sport for quarter of the price 😂😂

Preferred the previous generation. Just an opinion, no need to get your knickers in a knot.
Large wheels are stupid. I wouldn't go over 19". I really like my '19 P250S. The interior is nicer than the newer models.
This feels like a downgrade. The pre-facelift looked better in almost every way.
No knobs and buttons on the dash = no buy.
2022 is better
Remove all buttons!
nooooooo! 😭😭
Ruined this car by removing all the buttons just to save money. Yet people will still happily give their money out for this 😂
Exterior super cool. Interior super cheap looking car. Not an attractive car any more.
#savethebuttons

Yeah JLR air suspension sucks
