Nah…maybe if you talk about in line 6 cylinders I agree. But a much better engine could easily be the V12 of Lamborghini Murcielago or V12 Mclaren F1LM or (If you’d like it) V8 Slr Mclaren…search them and answer me back pls 🥰🤣
During this time, my step-father owned a M1 and I remember that car going through the tunnel at LAX and my mother would downshift to third just so that awesome engine could roar through the tunnel..... To this day I love the sound of a good engine because of that. I would ask if I could shift for whomever was driving it, so I remember the pattern on this car was 1st was where second would normally be in a car. R was far over to the left and up. It was such a beautiful car and when my step-brother wrecked it, I could not imagine the terrible feeling my step-father had to endure knowing such a work of art was in pieces. It never was repaired in the states as far as I know.
in my opinion the best sounding engine ever made
yes you are right, but the Imsa Audi is near by :-)

I remember seeing this car new in ‘78-‘79 at the British Motor Show.

Thanks for sharing your story bro
IT CANNOT BE 1988! CLASSIC START-FINISH LINE! GP TRACK WASN'T BUILT YET! That means the video is pre-1983
Likely 1980-1981
Einfach herrlich!!!
Just hear that thing stay in revs so well.
Wouldn't this be 1978?
Awesome! Thanks for sharing. Sounds so good
Its 1978, not 1988, right..?
