- The Born-Free custom motorcycle show is known world-wide for good reason. More than 30 elite bike builders grind it out in their garages for months prepping their best work for this show. At stake is the notoriety of being declared the best-of-the-best. A few coveted spots at the 30th Mooneyes Hot Rod Custom show in Yokohama, Japan also sweeten the pot. We took our time filming each of these insane bikes so you can drink in all the sweet details from the comfort of your couch.
The night before Born-Free is another fierce battle between bike builders. The Biltwell People's Champ competition is held at the legendary Cook's Corner bike bar, a few miles down the road from Born-Free. 6 finalists from a pool of hundreds ride their choppers to the show for a shot at $10 grand and a place at Born-Free with the invited builders. We made sure to shoot all of their bikes as well.
Not to be forgotten is the hundreds of ride-ins, vendor bikes, and special guests. We couldn't include all of these but we threw in a couple we know you'll dig.
Enjoy the video, check out the forum, and buy some merch so we can keeping making cool stuff for y'all. Also, this project couldn't have been made without generous support from our sponsor Throttle Addiction. They make and sell hartails, gas tanks, oil tanks, sissy bars, you name it. Get yourself some cool stuff and tell 'em ChopCult sent ya.

Great show...
Shout out to Jesse Valadez JR. (RIP), the original Gypsy Rose.
Gasoline & coffee that guy and his dad really build a very badass immaculate bike
The young guy with the long fork Honda chop, damn, that kid is going to go a long way, some amazing ideas there.

Probably the best bike show video ever made.
Date knucking fuckle was awesome!🤣👍
I miss bikes so much and the bike shows and festivals, two wheeled brother together. I had a bad accident about 30 years ago now. But the love for bikes never leaves your blood. I WILL ride again. I just need to find a project.

Some of the most creative work I've seen to date. It's good to see these artists really push the boundaries of motorcycle building. It's inspiring.

That 2003 Indian Chief is the best bike there. That thing is so fuckkn cool I thought it was like a club style Panhead at first glance.

It’s amazing how much the style trend has changed since those God awful Orange County chopper bike days with the dump truck rear tires.
And thank god. Those things are hideous

Why was Max Schaaf's Knuck not included?
Ride Forever!
5:37-6:00 for Max Schaaf's bike🤘
@@ChopCult_09 Dang! Right you are, and thanks for that. I had seen so many other vids of the bikes, including the People’s Champ bikes, that I actually fast-forwarded bit by bit and somehow missed the whole 23 seconds of Max’s bike 😁
Too bad he wasn’t featured in an interview (maybe not available) as he’s a righteous soul who always says profound things about life in general and bikes in particular. But you guys already know that.
Thanks for the professional coverage; it’s refreshing compared to the many home-made efforts on here that make you more or less dizzy.
From the west coast ~ Ride Forever!
@@midnightmc3096 Yep unfortunately there's only so much time during shows for interviews, however DicE magazine is putting out a video in September featuring Max and his Knucklehead so stay tuned for that:) Thanks for watching!
@@ChopCult_09 Thank you kindly for that heads-up, I’ll definitely look out for that DicE video.

Skip through all the Harleys to look at the cool stuff
i swear people need to learn proper camera angles

Nobody in their right mind puts a 6ft front end on a bike with a view to ride it…. This is clearly mr krick getting the engineering and artistic confused and settling on the later….
I have a 55 KHR....I think this purple think belongs in a pride parade
What's up with all the super high pipes? Not feeling it. But the bikes are sick.
