is there a way to get the old bed sides out without buggering the upper rail? heatgun or torch? i know its not practical for shop timewise but id like to save my old sides if possible for bodywork practice.

Yes of course just drill out all the spot welds and take your time knocking it off with a hand chissle

Is this a quarter panel you got off car parts? Just wondering if it was primed or painted black cause I need to do this just wondering if you have to prime the whole thing before painting or not

It’s a bedside panel and yes it comes black and you have to use sealer before painting it
