Just check their old video and you find the exactly same video but in Chinese.This is a new video.The Taiwan Bar team want to make each of there video an English version so that more people can understand it.
I don't know where you get your "facts", but the Taiwanese at that time was not a unified people who spoke the same language, let alone any common law that all people observed. The Qing people before the Japanese were so much worse in discipline, resource, education, and military training. So I guess you guys are only doing this to entertain the younger generation and to enjoy yourselves? Cracking jokes one time make them funny. But cracking the same jokes ever and over and over agin toally counter the credibility and efferot of your creation.

因為有文化理解障礙
底下留言也基本都中文很少英文，可以額外再開新頻道試試直接投到外國去
當一個頻道充斥著中文和少許英文（還不完全理解笑點）真的會勸退很多沒接觸華文化的外國人，不要把目標客群以外的人完全剔除呀
這樣好像製作影片的意義就只能給台灣人拿來練英聽了

英文版真的很讓人驚豔！而且文稿跟梗真的都有調整過，不是直接中翻英的敷衍之作！旁白的英文真的聽不出非母語口音。我自己在美國讀書、生活七年也還不及這個水準的一半。看下面網友留言google了一下才發現原來旁白是很小的時候長住過美國，果然發音還是從小培養有差。真的我覺得比很多現在線上教外語的網紅發音跟流暢度更好（當然可能也是網紅拍片可能是即席對話，但動畫台灣史畢竟是照稿配音，所以更順暢？）總之這部英文版影片的水準真的相當驚人，我覺得外交部都未必做得出來。果然高手在民間！
找不到可以挑剔的地方，內容搞笑又不失嚴謹，繁中字幕跟英文配音更是啵棒！

有些東西應該很多人不懂啊，例如那個紅豆，只限定於懂日文中文的人，就像是看韓劇跟日劇的時候，只看翻譯的人不懂笑點是什麼情況，懂的人在笑，不懂的人一頭霧水？要有一個相同水平的人才懂，不同的版本內容應該要做點改變，只翻譯語言還不夠，要同時改成他們才懂得諺語成語之類的。不過真的好厲害，把我討厭的歷史內容改成會想要去了解，歷史跟地理真的是學生時代最想逃避的課之二。謝謝台灣巴讓我知道歷史的同時又不會煩悶。

我必須說做的真的不錯.從一開始看到中文版就在希望最後會有英文版出來,但是也在擔心一些大問題.
笑梗來說,不一樣的文化,不一樣的語言本來就會不一樣.台灣用的梗是不會在英文的脫口秀出現的.就算可以原汁原味的翻譯,有辦法達到50%的笑果就很不錯了.而我覺得其實這集這方面做得還不錯(雖然像有些觀眾也點出來的 - 有些可能還是需要多註解一下)
另外一個問題就是比較難解決的了: 配音員的選擇還有配音的處理.就像梗在不一樣的文化裡會有不同,有笑果聲音也會不一樣.是要搞笑的聲音還是冷面笑匠的處理?另外在梗的delivery部分聲音的高低,速度,我覺得是可以再改進的.加油!
