- Crispy Onion Bhaji Recipe
Ingredients:
• 2 large onions, finely sliced
• 1 cup gram flour (besan)
• 2-3 green chilies, finely chopped
• 1/2 teaspoon ajwain seeds
• 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
• 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
• Salt to taste
• Water (as needed)
• Oil for frying
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, combine the sliced onions, green chilies, ajwain, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
2. Add the gram flour to the mixture and mix everything well.
3. Gradually add a few drops of water to the mixture to bind it together. The mixture should be thick, not too runny.
4. Heat oil in a deep frying pan.
5. Drop small portions of the mixture into the hot oil.
6. Fry the bhajis until they are golden brown and crispy.
7. Remove and drain on paper towels.
8. Serve hot with chutney or ketchup. Enjoy your crispy onion bhajis!
