This video is so well done, Isaiah. Your screen format is unique and different. The in-depth description, the GPS points and narration all conclude with a very satisfying view. Thank you!!
Awesome! Thanks again😁🙌. The gps point was an idea from Eric Rhoads of Plein Air Magazine. I believe somewhere he mentioned he puts the coordinates on the back of his plein air paintings and I thought it’d be a cool idea to connect my painting to a specific location that anyone from around the world could type in and see exactly where the painting and video took place. #ericrhoads #pleinairmagazine #pleinairmag
Thank you for that. It’s a beautiful area that I often overlooked in regards to studying through painting. There’s obviously a lot more color you see from direct observation vs viewing it on a screen from a photo.
Thank you and I have another video coming up soon! In regards to the aerial shots, it’s a drone. I’m a licensed drone operator that shoots marketing video and photography for my “other” job. So it comes in handy when making videos for me! 😆 You can view that “other job” here- www.outdorestudios.com
Hi, the landscape you were painting caught my eye, as it is very similar to where I live in Manitoba. So I particularly enjoyed watching this video. Thank you. Also I am wondering where I could find the song you played during the recording. It's lovely.
Yes, our landscape is basically the same! I live on the border of North Dakota and Minnesota a couple hours south of the Canadian border.😁. I used 3 different songs in the video, so if you could get me a time stamp on when the song started playing I’d be happy to let you know the song and artist.
Nice work! For the quality of your videos and your paintings you deserve more subscribers/views! +1 subscriber P.s. Could you please share the link to buy that easel as I am just starting with the plein air painting as well, thank you!
I appreciate the kind and encouraging words. My easel/pochade box is a “Sienna pochade box” and probably over 10 years old. I can’t remember where I got it from but I know they still make them. They pop up with a simple google search “Sienna pochade box”. Best of luck on your new plein air adventure!
I agree. I have many paintings that lay dusty in the studio like this. You paint and move along. Anyone else have paintings in their studio like this? Lol
Thanks Isaiah. I'm sure your subscribers will increase, Really enjoy watching you paint.
Thank you for that Steve!
excellent video. Great painting. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for the kind words! Will do!
SO AMAZING BRAVO
Thank you for that! 🙂

Nice painting! Felt like I could walk right into the scene. 👍

Красивая работа! Спасибо за новое видео ❤
I appreciate that! Thank you! 😀
I really liked that plein air painting. Keep the videos coming. Was wondering how you get those aerial shots at the beginning of the video.
Thank you and I have another video coming up soon!

Theose aerials made the painting video look even more professional. Thanks for the reply.

@@isaiahjohnsfineart Thank you very much! I found it and apparently they still make them. All the best and hope to see your exhibition soon :)
I think you manage somehow to do the best of a non existing subject. No focus , flat no energy or punch at all and terribly boring
