Bless, thank you. 🙂 The 270 is just an electronic version of the 260. It has the advantage of having freedom of the size of your patterns, the 260 has a 24 stitch punchcard facility, which is fine, but the 270 will allow you to have a pattern as wide as the needle bed, if you wished.

@@saraana4614 single motifs on a 260 is just as easy. Choose your motif punchcard, use the motif cams and set them into the needle bed where you would like the motif to begin and finish knitting, making sure it is in the punchcard repeat range. The needle number strip shows you where the repeats start and finish. 🙂 Set the punchcard on row 1 and select the needles, set the carriage up in the same way as this video, release card and knit the motif in the same way as I showed here. 🙂
I have indeed yes, I posted on a machine knitting Facebook group two designs from the Brother 270 pattern book that I knitted up on the Bond. 🙂 I am not sure what you mean with the last part of your message though?
