Thank you so much for this very helpful video. I’ve owned an Elite for years and recently decided to start using it again. Had no idea why it wouldn’t function properly and almost gave up but your video has explained the problem exactly so new sponge ordered and everything crossed a new one will help get me up and running. There’s limited information and help online for these old machines but yours was a perfect solution. Thanks again.

Clean them with isopropyl or rubbing alcohol, all names for the same stuff.
