Bro Excellent view! To see more excellent forest view of eastern ghats, plan a trip between These 3 Cities (2 of Odisha & 1 of Andhra Pradesh) Koraput Rayagada Araku Vizag Route is the best which I would recommend. You may get a vistadome coach ticket between Koraput Araku Vizag Route. For Rayagada Koraput route you may not get Vistadome Coach. Plan on it and make a video. Bro After Visiting Vizag, pls visit ramakrishna beach. It is very nice place to see the sea. Bro Vizag is my Favourite city and my hometown too! Thank you so much for Entertaining us!! But this journey reminds the glorious diesel era which is no more in ECoR. I had travelled in this train where it had a loco change at Raipur Jn i.e Diesel to Electric.
Sad but also good for future that ECOR is 100 percent electrified.
No more diesel engines except in only one train which originates from BBS

This video made me nostalgic. Samta Express is an important part of my childhood in 2000s. Used to regularly take the Samta from Rayagada and Vizag for Gwalior and Delhi. Vital train. Sometimes the pantry servers would recognise our family in the return trip and we would have friendly conversations and fresh hot samosas as soon as they were ready. Wonderful train

SAMTA EXPRESS is the most important train for the people of Western Odisha. It connects our National Capital with the nearest Health Hub Vizag for our region. You may have noticed that this train has at least 6 GS coaches this is because the timing of this train between Raipur and VSKP. It also acts as an Intercity Exp between these 2 stations.

10:38 Samta express is not a daily train Samta express runs between vskp and nzm 5 days a week via vzm raipur. This train is having RSA with vskp nzm Swarna jayanti sf express via bza wl bpq ngp which runs 2 days a week
The other route is almost 200 km longer than this route 😲😲

Visakhapatnam is the largest city in Andhra Pradesh it is port city, Head quarters of Eastern Naval Command, there are so many Large Industries are here Hindustan Ship Yard, RINL-STEEL PLANT, Coromandel fertilizers, HPCL refinery, BHEL, FARMA CITY, IT SEZ etc.

Visakhapatnam is my home town , while you entering station it was not electrical loco shed, it's like loco yard, once upon a time it was a steam loco shed. loco direction changer also there. I think samatha express is not a daily train, it run 5 days a week and another 2 days it run as Swarnajayanti Exp via BZA, shares same rakes.

Try the Kirandul Express which starts at 6.30 morning from Visakhapatnam to Jeypore through Araku Valley, nice scenic beauty from top of the hills with lots of tunnels . . .
