I feel Honoured and privileged. Thank you very much for covering this train journey to my home home state Odisha, crossing my home in Bhubaneswar, and that too your first vlog trip with parents to Puri Jagannath and my Odisha and I feel very blessed for that.
Few points I want to highlight :
- I grew up in Lucknow and travelled to Bhubaneswar through Neelanchal Express on this route countless number of times for a decade. During that time the train reversed at Kharagpur. It was delightful to relive and revisit this journey through your travel
- Appreciate you capturing the beauty of the journey, the back to back rivers of Odisha in Baitrani, Brahmani, Mahanadi, Kathjodi through the historic towns of Cuttack. Pleasant memory in seeing these vast rivers
- Balasore is the british name. It is pronounced as Baleswhwar
- It is always hot and humid in Odisha during day time even in winters compared to North India. I grew up in Lucknow and Delhi so I understand this. Mostly no winter clothing required in Odisha except in windy nights
- It is hard to find fruits in Odisha in these journeys because normally the poor people of Odisha feel fruits are costly and hence go ahead with vada and matar sabji (we call it Ghuggni) kind of breakfasts which is wholesome and affordable. Maybe that is the reason you couldn't find fruit stalls
- I liked how you thanked the pantry staff
I have been travelling through India and Indian Railways through your videos for the last 2.5 years, your vlogs helped me when I was down during Covid and Lockdown. So your efforts in making my life better is always appreciated and thanked for.
I always dream to show you around Bhubaneswar, Puri, Konark and other places in Odisha that I have explored. I was there in Bbsr on 26th Jan, maybe some day I will be able to show you around my home state. You are most welcome at my home. It felt so warm meeting your parents and I started missing my parents after seeing your vlog. Currently I am also staying In Bangalore. Would be privileged to travel with you one day.

24:35 it's towards Balangir Junction, an important link pending for decades. The line passes besides IIT Bhubaneswar, so if you use that line you can directly see the college.

One of the popular train of Adra Division. This train passes through Bankura Junction where I belong. But arrival time is 3:15 AM. So missed it in video. Very nice compilation.

Satya bhai, from Khurda Road Jn the new line under construction is Khurda Balangir railway project which you can see the right side track diverts from KUR. This project is in WIP stage and will connect western Odisha with Eastern and coastal Odisha. Currently trains running till Nuagaon station which is in Nayagarh District. 4th line is only half completed(till Mahipur) - reaching upto Balangir( from there can catch trains to Vizag through Rayagada, Jagdalpur in Chhattisgarh via Koraput, one line goes to Raipur via Titlagarh, the other one comes from Sambalpur).
