Brian (Paul Walker) meets Johnny Tran (Rick Yune) and Lance (Reggie Lee) who trash his car because of bad blood with Dominic (Vin Diesel).
FILM DESCRIPTION:
A magazine article about real-life car racing gangs for Vibe becomes this fast-paced automotive thriller from director Rob Cohen. Paul Walker stars as Brian O'Conner, a youthful FBI agent investigating a series of hijackings by going undercover with a street gang led by charismatic Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel). Caught up in Toretto's world of gang conflict that is resolved in late-night car races, Spindler starts to sympathize with his chief suspect and falls in love with Toretto's younger sister Mia (Jordana Brewster). Back when Toretto was just a street racer and not some sort of trained military special forces philosopher ninja. If it had been the Toretto from Furious 7, he would have probably said something like "That car belongs to family, my family, and you don't mess with a man's family." Then proceed to grab some Chinese dude's gun and kill them all Rambo style.
I still love the franchise, what bothers me is how Toretto has become some sort of super man. He beat Hobbs (The Rock) a trained special agent who was not only more skilled than him but also bigger, then he beats Deckard (Jason Statham) a British special forces soldier (who are believed to be even tougher than Navy SEALs) on a fist fight. That's just bullshit.
+Luiso Gaming I hate that as well, even the way he beats paul walker in the fourth movie. In this his character is more street smart and a lot more realistic.

I think you're underestimating just how much 1000hp is. Sure 1000cc bikes are fast, but 1000hp you're doing 7 - 9 second 1/4 miles depending on the car. They're talking about Race Wars which in the movie, is a from 0 drag race, with the right tyres, 1000hp, a stock R1 is not going to take the win.
Unlikely, the 1000hp car with drag tires is always going to have the bike at launch. Bike is more likely to launch off it's rear wheel and throw the rider off trying to keep up with the car. The launch is like 70% if not more, of a drag race. Car will pull away on launch, bike MIGHT close the gap but imo certainly won't win the race as easy as you're making it out to be, if at all. You're completely overestimating the potential of a bike at a drag strip, and underestimating a 1000hp drag car... at a drag strip. There's already a video online you can find, of a 700whp M3 vs an R1 in a rolling start, and the M3 keeps up with the R1, so imagine some 1000hp car, like a supra, or R34 from a 0mph start against an R1, it would be murder. I've seen R32s, R33s and R34s with around 1000hp doing 7.8 - 9.4 second 1/4 miles, whereas the best number for a 1/4 mile I could find for an R1 with video evidence was a 9.6 second, in optimal conditions with modifications which doesn't fit your original comment of "just a 1000cc bike" because I take "just a bike" as stock and not modified. So the best number I could get for a bike at the strip, stock, by a human and not the Yamaha numbers was in the low to mid 10s. So we're talking about a 1 - 3 second difference between the 1000hp drag car (depending on the car) and the stock R1.

I wonder if Johnny Tran would have shot up the car if Paul Walker had explicitly said that it was his and Dom had not said anything. Than Tran wouldn't have said, "So it's nobody's car..." Since he viewed it as in between Paul and Dom, he probably figured, screw it, destroy it. If on the other hand, he had known it was not Dom's, I wonder if he'd have let it go. Because he had no beef with Paul's character.

Paul Walker will be forever missed. I was completely devastated. He got me into cars and specifically got me into Nissans and the skyline and the GTR. I can not believe he is gone, It is so hard to believe that he is gone.

This scene was filmed outside my neighborhood in Westminster. At the beginning of this scene, they filmed in Adong Supermarket. The statue of Confucius, or K'ung Fu-Tze is no longer there, but I did visit that statue with my mother as a child. The scene at 2:38 is T&K Supermarket, or 三陽 in Chinese is where my mother works at. I sometimes visit that supermarket. T&K Supermarket, or San Yang is also near my old elementary school, John Murdy Elementary, and my mother had used to pick me up from there in a short time since they were right next to each other.

Even though the whole setting is in Los Angeles, this actual scene was in Westminster, CA in Orange County. Its also known as Little Saigon. Its around 40 miles away from where the Torettos resided (which was Echo Park). So that wouldve been a long walk. So twice as long as O’Connor said
