I think the next Mario Kart will release one month after the Switch 2 launched because the next 3D Mario will be one of the launch games for the console

I think they'll save 3D Mario for the holiday season, I think MK9 would be better off to release around the 3rd quarter of 2025 if the Switch 2 comes out around the 2nd quarter

@ what makes nintendo better than xbox and playstation is that with each system they have a unique twist to it. This might be the smallest innovation in their console release history. I have every system nes,snes,64,gamecube,wii, wii u and switch. Each console looks different than previous. If that makes sense
@@emilioperez3274 Honestly they did the same thing with the DSi to the 3DS. The 3DS is basically a more beefier DSi, with better graphics, better internet connection, extra controls. Nintendo has been doing this for a while. Yes it may do the same thing but it may be better than the last.

Instead of Mario Kart 9, it’s just going to be Mario Kart 8 Deluxe 2. Nintendo hates giving Mario series new games, so they’re never going to give us Mario Kart 9 and just keep milking Mario Kart 8, regardless if people are sick and tired of Mario Kart 8 or not
@alysssabear other Mario series like 3D Mario, Yoshi’s Island, Luigi’s Mansion, Donkey Kong Country, and Mario Baseball haven’t gotten new games in a while though, and it seems like Nintendo refuses to make new games in those series and just leave them to die instead

Game might be backwards compatible… and new controllers might be backwards compatible, but there’s little reason to make these for the old system. I’m pretty sure others like this are made for the Switch that works with SW2.
The fact that the right joystick might still be in the middle of the joycon turned sideways still baffles me cuz' it's such horrible design. That's so uncomfortable to play with.
