The speech sets out Mr Sunak's pitch to voters ahead of a general election which needs to be held some time before January 2025.

Wow, if only there were some sort of Union of European countries that we could be part of in these increasingly dangerous times for our mutual benefit and safety.
The longer Rishi stays the greater danger.

I'd continue with a quote from American actor Woody Allen (even if he's hated by many) that is totally relevant and perhaps even the truth: "One path leads to despair and utter hopelessness. He used this speech to talk about other people's achievement throughout history, that had no links to this government, if this was in a court the jury would have to disregard the last comments, it wouldn't take much analysing to realise he sounds like a nutter.
