Today I passed my test, in first attempt with 5 minors I am in my mid thirties - I had no professional lessons, just family and big thankyou to all the UA-cam videos from your channel, thankyou
I just passed my test with only 3 faults thanks to my instructor and videos like this! Just remember the test itself is easier than you might think and you will have done better than you think!

I’ve passed my test day before, which was my first try, yesterday. Beware, you always don’t get sat-nav for independent driving as my instructor asked me to follow the road signs to a place which I wasn’t expecting. However, it was less stressful than my mock test as I had lots of practice beforehand. So, don’t stress too much about the test and focus on your driving and do as much as practice as possible before the test. Best wishes.
Never driven a car before, but after watching this I think I'll do my practical test tommorow.

Just passed my test yesterday at West Wickham too haha. Thanks for all the videos they really did help. You have a calm voice and unlike a lot of driving channels on UA-cam, you don’t make your videos for entertainment but rather focus on actually helping loads. I was recommend to you by my dad, who taught me how to learn to drive rather than having an instructor , which put me in a disadvantage a little really. You helped us save a lot of money and got me to pass my test second time! Thanks a million Chris , I can’t recommend you enough to all my friends and family 👊🏽👊🏽

The night before my mind was full of doubts, I knew I could drive, but what if I made an error on test day that I usually wouldn’t ? What if the examiner has an agenda against me for whatever reason. I was stressing hella but at the same time I knew that if I just prayed to Allah and made dua for the best outcome for me, whether that be a pass or fail, that would lift the stresses from my shoulder, at the point I just had to do my best and leave the rest to Allah.
Come test day, drove around a bit with my instructor and went to the test, I had my provisional with me that’s all you need.
During the actual driving test, he told me to pull up to the left and my front wheel scraped against the curb and my heart dropped. At this point I thought I failed the test, I was so upset and just felt like getting out of the car and waking home.
But I remembered what my mum told me, which was to keep driving your best till the end of the exam till your examiner tells you, because as long as your examiner can see that your a safe driver on the roads, oftentimes they will oversee small mistakes you make like this and you will pass In Sha Allah. Remember brother, as long as the examiner hasn’t taken control of the wheels or the pedals, then you have a chance of passing !!!!
Also, one other thing I want to emphasise is mirror checks, constantly check your mirrors every 20 seconds , before you change gear, speeding up or down, entering a new road, coming to a stop, before turning right or left into any road, anything!!!!!
A tip that was given to me before my test was pretend as though your examiner is a passenger and you’re a chauffeur (not a taxi driver 🤣cos they don’t care) , that is providing a safe and luxurious journey . As long as the examiner feels safe and that you have control over the car you will pass in Sha Allah.

They truly were! Instructors are great but don’t have time for tips etc, your videos did that, they’re great, so helpful and helped no end with my confidence, wish I’d found you earlier! . Thank you, I was embarrassed as I’d left it so late in life to learn , I’m loving it now. When I took my test I sat in the waiting room with 4 teenagers, nothing like that to show the age of you, I’m proud too if I secretly admit!! Keep on keeping on Chris, brilliant work!! 😊

I have my driving test in Feb, watching these alongside my lessons! I think my biggest hurdle is confidence. I know how the roads work and where to go and what to do, and I know how to use the car; it’s just when I’m in the moment and there’s a lot going on my mind seems to go blank and I make a mistake I wouldn’t usually make! I failed my test 2022, on the exact cross road. As a major straight fail at Wood Green test centre
My test is coming soon in August. My driving instructor keeps making me so panicking by saying " please dont damge my car. This is my living earning, something wrong with your direction adjustment ( as I couldnt make it paralell when I do reversing ) I feel a bit calm when practising with my husband but I feel so awkard with the instructor. I am watching many videos of yours with a hope that I will pass. I have been learning from last year

Unless your instructor is newly qualified then they should be experienced in taking learner drivers for their test. If they genuinely have concerns about you damaging their car, it's their responsibility to decide whether they should take you for the driving test or not. Remember, your focus should be on improving and gaining confidence. Your instructor should be honest with you regarding if you're ready for the driving test. Keep practicing, stay positive, and don't hesitate to discuss your concerns with your instructor. You've got this!

I realy like your contents and how you explained every move you do, Thanx alot Chris. i am not good that much with manual transmissions and i hve been practicing recently with aToyota Hilux 2016 but i hve one challenge in driving it, whenever i move in first gear from a dead stop and accelerate even beyond 3 rpm and try to change to the second gear, the car slows down very quickly that makes the 2 second gear not to be smooth at all.💔
How could i solve that challenge Chris
@@mowlidmussea.2689you could be trying to put it in 2nd too early , try and aim for around 15/20mph for 2nd gear , lift the clutch up slowly after you’ve changed gear x

I can realise that I should always find the biting point after I have slightly pressed the gas. Should I follow this procedure even with a manual 4 wheel drive???
