@joanngclef The titles "prince" and "princess" are only obtained through birth in the UK. You cannot be a princess through marriage. Meghan is a Duchess through marriage, but not a princess. She does have the right to be called "Princess Henry," which is just a shorthand way of saying "the wife of Prince Harry," but this still does not make her in fact a princess merely the wife of a prince. She will never be "Princess Meghan" unless the laws change, which is unlikely.
@suefrowde9378 UK law does not allow the title "princess" to be obtained through marriage, only through birth. The only title Meghan has is Duchess of Sussex. (Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, is also not a princess for the same reason. Anne is the daughter of a queen and princess royal by birth. Catherine's title is Princess of Wales, which is a separate thing from a "normal" princess title; it's a ceremonial role that is obtained by marriage but still does not carry the right to be addressed as "Princess Catherine," because she's not a member of the royal family by birth. The way she cast aspersions on David Beckham for showing affection to his beautiful daughter disgusts me. Someone should educate her that this is the way normal parents act with their children. Children crave physical affection. You only have to look at any young child. The moment they hurt themselves, or are upset; they put their arms up to mum, dad, Grandma, granddad and want a cuddle. This teaches them empathy and, in turn, when they are adults, how to treat their own children.
We're always being shown examples of child abusers who were abused themselves as children. Something, as a 76 year old mother and grandmother, I never understood. It's human instinct to love and protect children. David's daughter will grow up to be a loving mother. She loves her dad. He loves her. And they show it.
If Megaliar's children exist, how will they be as adults??? Locked up in a mansion, ignored by their parents, never mixing with family or other children, not shown any physical affection. I like to think the children don't exist; because if they do, the poor things are heading for adulthoods of mental health problems.

I am a 2nd daughter/ 2nd child in the family. My older sister always reminded me I was second and the world rotated around her. It affected me. But I did the opposite. I tried to get attention for being a good student, being kind to others and being obedient. Which my sister did not have any of those qualities.

I think the Wales children will be okay. Their parents have always ensured they are very present in their lives and have not delegated their raising to a series of nannies. They employ one nanny who is considered part of the family. I believe that William is very dedicated to hands-on parenting with his children and his closeness to the non-aristocratic Middleton family is a great support to him and his wife.
