- Albert Lee, one of Hanover’s most successful farmers, is carrying the town of Lucea and the parish forward, into the aquaculture industry.
Mr Lee’s investment is helping to positively change the profile of the community of Kew in Lucea, where he has created his fish farm, on a section of his property he has named Wild West Ja.
A former Parish Councillor for the Riverside Division, Mr Lee is also an esteemed electrician in Hanover.
Mr Lee who specialises in livestock farming, began raising tilapia for the first time in 2021, on his farm a section of the community of Kew in Lucea, which adjoins the Lucea East River, which is his key water source.
Kew is a former sugar estate where rum was distilled, at least between 1764 and 1787.
