Hey guys! I just want to thank you all for the support and thank you to everyone who loves the workouts and supports the channel! I want to address the calorie burn questions!! ***I’m going to post a video on the reasoning I am choosing to no longer include my personal calorie burn on the channel anymore very soon! Long story short, we will all burn calories different and my calories will never be everyone’s calorie burn. I know some people use it as a gauge but it was becoming the overarching focus and I want you all to work your hardest no matter what the workout is. We need a combo of low and high calorie burn workouts and that's why I program the workouts so that you can follow along day by day with me! I want us all to focus on working our hardest to get stronger for ourselves! I get hundreds of messages daily telling me I lie about my calorie burned, people feeling that they failed because they couldn’t hit my calorie burn, people doing way too many workouts just to hit a calorie burn number and developing an unhealthy relationship with the numbers. I just want the focus to be less on a calorie burn number that is going to vary for every one every day and all trackers have a pretty high degree of inaccuracy and variability based on your brand and a million other factors! People also tended to avoid strength workouts which don’t have as high of a calorie burn and go for all cardio workouts when in reality we need both in our fitness regimen to maintain healthy, strong, and injury free bodies. Hopefully you can respect my decision to do this and focus on working hard together! 💜Love you all!
I couldn't agree more! I know a lot of people including myself struggle with calories burned and and fixate on hitting a certain number without focusing on form or strength. It was a tough decision but Im glad you made it :)
We all should be so grateful for Sydney and Dustin as they r the only you tuber who gives free,high quality, full length workout videos *everyday*...So instead of complaining about the missing calorie burners ( calorie counting is not a great mindset) etc we all should should help her by subscribing ,liking the videos , sharing and if possible joining the Sydney squad.
Hi SR Usha, I appreciate your perspective, but as someone who has been loyally doing Sydney Cummings videos for over 2 years I don’t think asking for something you want, like calorie burn, is complaining or not being grateful. Actually, I think it’s very presumptuous that you say this. We are all grateful, we are simply providing the feedback that we like to see the calorie burn. We help her by subscribing, supporting her channels, buying from her, why can’t we provide honest feedback. That’s what she says she wants! That’s also how this amazing thing called social media works. Before you criticize others, maybe take a deep breath!
mrnppd1 no, I was hoping she might, but I know it’s a super busy time for her with the new studio. I’m not in the Sydney Squad, but maybe someone on here will let us know. I know it’s not a perfect science and everybody has a diff calorie burn, but it’s a great barometer than I really used as a tool throughout my day. Have a great one!
I may be in the minority, but thank you so much for no longer posting calories burned! I know that many like it, but for me, it was really helping to maintain an unhealthy mindset. As someone with a history of disordered eating, I found myself selecting workouts based on numbers rather than what I actually wanted to do, and overworking myself by do numerous videos if I didn't think the calories burned was high enough. So while others may miss it, I am very grateful you have decided to not feature calories burned anymore. PS - I also want to thank you for your continued dedication to sharing free accessible workouts everyday!

Sydney I never ever thought you were lying about the calorie burn. I come from a place of obesity. My heaviest being 300lbs. I'm now around 170. It's hard to let go of that need to count numbers burned or eaten. But I've seen my body change so much in the last couple of years so I'm glad you took the calorie burn out. Maybe not at first but it's time to let go of that and be strong. Yeah? 💪this workout was great.💙
I LOVE this workout! I feel much more connected now that I have followed the workouts since April 01. For the prior 2 years I was just choosing from Sydneys numerous videos. And ALWAYS looking for the workout that BURNED the most CALORIES! I am now so thankful for following directions and doing moves and exercises that are different and difficult! And knowing that I am doing better for my body by training in a format that Sydney has spent time to put safely together for us, every day! And also not training everyday! Sunday is my garden/yard day, which is sometimes more work than exercise! Sydney has enriched my life so much with her positivity and knowledge! Never too old to learn! I will be here tomorrow! Happy EVERYTHING!!!!
I crushed it! I made a decision to change my eating habits today. I gained some of my weight back and it’s because of my food choices despite the fact me working out everyday. So thank you SYDNEY. I will not enter my 40s, overweight. My 40th birthday is this august and I want to be slimmer, leaner and healthier

I did not want to do a 50 minute workout, but I am so glad I did! This was one of my favorite legs/abs/ cardio workouts. I loved the format of 5 stations. The time flew by!! Awesome! Thank you! ❤

Been working out with you since Jan and this is my first comment: I REALLY liked the structure of that workout!! Please do something like this again in the future! :-) You also need to know that my kids LOVE your "silly dances" at the end ;-) they usually dance along with you. If you did a whole workout of dancing, they'd most likely follow along!
Love the fact that you rarely do the same moves twice which really keeps me motivated. Love the set. But I'm not sure why we need to see such a wide view of it. It doesnt feel as one to one as before.

Just wanted to hop here and comment that I love that you took out the calories from the title.I was always so focused on burning more calories than I was on the actual workout!I didn't even realise it until you took them out.I was constantly watching my fitbit to see if I'm burning as many calories as you that I stopped focusing on giving my best on the actual workout!Today I decided not to check my fitbit until the end of the workout and guess what, I've burned more calories than the days before, because I focused and challenged myself with heavier weights instead of checking the calories after each exercise!Thanks a lot for that Sydney, you rock!🤟🏻

Whoa, this is a very hard, advanced workout.... ! I did “most” of it all- lots of squats - a bit hard on my knees....this will most certainly be a gage to my stamina increase as I work thru more of Sydney’s incredible workouts

I'm a little behind with the workouts so i'm still on the At-home workout challenge. But i make sure i follow every challenge and each workout. This will be my workout for today and I watch every video in the morning before I workout in the evening. So I know what i'm getting in to :P Just watching this makes me sweat. I've been eating super clean and working out alongside your videos 6 days a week with Sundays being my rest day. 48 days in and 16lbs down and I feel incredible (14 more to go), shout out to you Sydney, your youtube workout videos are life changing!!

I really enjoyed the variety of this workout, it went really quickly and I wasn’t at all repetitive. I get bored quite easily and don’t like constant repetition, which is why I love your workouts 😊. My legs are still sore from last weeks workout and I was worried this would be really hard. It was hard but I could still do it with good mobility too 🙏🙏🙏

I'm a little behind with the workouts so i'm still on the At-home workout challenge. But i make sure i follow every challenge and each workout. This will be my workout for today and I watch every video in the morning before I workout in the evening. So I know what i'm getting in to :P Just watching this makes me sweat. I really enjoyed the variety of this workout, it went really quickly and I wasn’t at all repetitive. I get bored quite easily and don’t like constant repetition, which is why I love your workouts 😊. My legs are still sore from last weeks workout and I was worried this would be really hard. It was hard but I could still do it with good mobility too 🙏🙏🙏
