    I think its funny that Mitch said he doesn't think he has a strong accent and he might be mistaken for an American. As an American myself I can say that Mitch has a pretty strong Scottish accent. Nida on the other hand sounds American.

    I kinda love that she says this "was geht?" at the end because that's so authentic local german while oftentimes when people speak german with foreigners there or if they haven't lived in germany for quite some time, they kind of lose that and mostly speak like official German if that makes any sense. It's a nice thing to throw in, makes her immediately likeable :D

    Nida looks like the typical (stunning)Turkish girl. Or she might have Arabic roots, because I think Turkey is not considered an Arab country.
    It would’ve been nice to hear about the participants’ past and if their families have immigrated from elsewhere. That would’ve been a great way to normalise what many people do out of necessity.

    • @inotoni6148
      @inotoni6148 Рік тому +5

      Yes, you're right. I recently saw a statistic about Germany. 84 million people live there, but already 25 million have a foreign background or are immigrants. Most are from Muslim countries. Certainly Nida also belongs to this group.
      She also does Twitch streams. She said in the last stream that she is leaving Korea and going back to Germany.

    • @inotoni6148
      @inotoni6148 Рік тому +3

      @@al1999 I got the figures directly from the Federal Statistical Office, i.e. from the German government, which publishes the figures every year. It says that of the 84 million, 59 million are ethnic Germans. You can easily calculate the proportion. Statistically, all are counted as non-ethnic who were adopted, migrated to Germany (regardless of where they came from) or have a parent with foreign roots.
      You misrepresented the situation with the refugees from Ukraine. It is almost exclusively Ukrainians who speak Ukrainian. And they are fleeing not only from the east and the south, but from all over Ukraine. And I also know that 1 million went to Germany, so the population has risen quickly to 84.3 million now.
