hi this is haze, just wanted to address why I think the yellow/pata base is the stronger option compared to the purple base. The main concern seems to be trash setup, which I think is mostly only important on your first stack. There are 4 ladydevis that will set up the 1 card you need in trash to make a ST Maste play. Even if you are unable to do so, it is not actually that detriment if you have to burn yourself either. And due to the reactive nature of the deck, often times your security will have already been chipped prior to your play, giving you materials to put into your sec. Once the game enters the back and forth grind, your cards being removed by your opponent eliminate the need for any trash set up. Patamon is by far the most powerful rookie you can play in the deck, allowing you to match pace with the tier 1 decks that this list is designed to beat. In testing it has felt very consistent and I have not missed the purple egg (There are definitely times where it would be convenient to have the ability to draw and trash, but I have not found it to be mandatory). If there are any questions I will be happy to answer.
I'm currently still using yellow base in JP format, and havent tried purple with ukko package yet. With yellow, if you manage to survive opp aggression, It's not rare that you draw your entire deck and can finish the game because of sec atk+ and jogress shinenigans
So if you aren’t running purple base that means you aren’t running bt16 salamon which I think is such a great card for the deck because it lets you evo into gato from trash for reduced cost. What is your take on that salamon other than patamon just being the better rookie. I’m a big maste player so I’m glad to finally see a good in depth deck profile on this deck since jp didn’t have many if any list to take ideas from.
I’m curious about why BushiAgu is played over BT11 Devimon. Is it just a matter of Rookie vs Champ count? I feel like the advantage of having a Rush target for Maste ACE and triggering EX6 Mirei makes Devi better.
I agree with you about the yellow base. Patamon isnt just about the free digivolve! You get early knowledge of your security and a memory gain inherent on a rookie that can trigger twice thanks to DNA, the card is good regardless of if its main eff triggers.
Any chance I could get a link to that pict at the start with the various maste characters, would love it on a playmat 🙏. Gonna try this build out when I receive the cards
@@neiru1000 7GD play aggro, get in for a bunch of alliance checks. If you have more issues play 1-2 Domini and go into it when you threaten lethal or need to stop Ogudo from killing you. Diaboro is just ruin mode check, you'll have to play more ruin if that is a deck you are worried about
I'm very curious how he thinks it plays into Diaboromon. I've played against 2 different mastemon players and both feel like the deck is not great in general and just hard loses to the matchup. Any thoughts?
As a maste player, yes you kinda just lose against diaboromon most of the time. Your only outs are running pillomon to stop diaboro tokens from being played, or valkyriemon, shinegreymon ruin, and cherubi ace to wipe a diaboro board clean. There's really nothing else maste can do to stop diaboromon from going wide, dedigivolving her, and completely wrecking her plays. Ordinemon would have been the answer if diaboromon tokens weren't all lvl6, rendering her useless.
Hey, good profile, i tested yellow vax base too, and yes. You can pull out a Mastemon more quickly, but sometimes it is just only that, since you have a harder time setting up your trash (which is still very needed with new Mirei for example) currently im working with a purple base (st nyaro and salamon) :)

I think the power that the yellow base provides is more than enough to make up for the slightly awkward first stack, and that's only if you don't open a ladydevi. Especially with Maste ace being able to play from hand.
Why did you choose a mastemon top end? this low end would work a lot better for a dominimon deck wouldn't it? If you wanted to keep the asthetic of yellow/purple, you could also try replacing mastemon with Ophanimon
This deck is suspicious and I'm here to provide logical feedback if you care to take it. Here are my concerns: 1) 8 champions is not enough with Patamon and no T.K. (cost 3). Really difficult/lucky to get the free evo. 2) Starter deck gatomon looks good on paper if you get it from Patamon's free digivolution (once again, rare), but if you play it for 5, watch the opponent crush your position with the amount of game actions they take. Your most likely play is going to digivolve it for 3. BT15 Barrier gatomon provides protection for your stack allowing you to play your Ace cards with safety. Very powerful card. 3) 2 of each LadyDevimon means that you have trouble evaluating cards properly. Starter deck Ladydevi is niche/old. The new Ladydevi has scapegoat granting protection for your ace cards. Pick the best ones and play more of them. 4) Chaos Degradation is a card you will be paying full cost for, likely setting your opponent to 4-6 memory in which case they will rebuild from since this is Digimon in 2024. It feels like a tech card in this list since Maste Ace does the degrading already, so you're running it for TyrantKabuterimon matchups where Digimon effects don't work on it or trying to sac someone out of security. Just some thoughts and a jab or two since I cannot help myself, but we're all trying to improve at the game. Ty for posting.

Do you feel there's any merit in trying to put a luce package into the deck with luce support type things?

The card is so broken especially in armor decks definitely getting hit next banlist!
I think the Cherubi could be flex slots to tech according to your local meta, if theres a lot of Mirage decks you could play Dominimon instead.
