Other countries' aircraft all have AESA radar, except our Mirage 2000s. I wonder how poorly we performed in WVR and BVR drills.

Hopefully India’s mirages are on par with that of other country’s aircrafts even without aesa radar.. But the bigger question that keeps bothering my me is, what’s the point of training with older era aircrafts of 4th generation or less wherein the usaf is already using advanced fifth or 5++ generation aircraft. Remember it’s 2023 of the 21st century. So, India needs a great and massive overhauling and changes to new generation aircrafts and technologies instead of trying to keep up by upgrading older dinosaur era aircrafts (mocked and called flying coffins by our very own news media and resulting in deaths to many talented pilots) to compete on the world stage of modern armaments. Mig’s and su’s are out of the question, they are still way too much for us still.. Wake up India, china is growing rapidly.
