Replacing '09 Tiguan Rear Dome Lights

A simple job, maybe too simple.....
- Also, a correction - LEDs were from USP Motorsports. I'm doing a few things and ECS was another vendor for some tools so I confused them.

Does anyone know what kind of bulbs these are? Because they are not w5w bulbs like the ones in the front seat lights.

I don't know the exact type or name, but you can get some from here for pretty inexpensive (assuming the shipping time is an acceptable wait):

I believe the sizes were 38mm, at least that's what my order details said from when I purchased them

Miguel Fernandez if you're using LEDs you might need to turn them around. They're polarity dependent so they can only go in one way, but you should be able to turn them around in the housing to work

Steven Kitchin thanks for your quick response. They are regular bulbs. replace them thinking that the old bulbs did not work and it is not working

In that case you'd want to find a way to test them. If your old ones work when you put them back in, then there might be an issue or incompatibility with the lights you're trying to replace with

Guys Was changing my 09 Tiguan to LED lights and I blew the fuse which fuse is it for the interior lights. Fuse box Underdash or engine area? Pls help

The lights are 36mm or 38mm?
