Amazing! The classic repair we've been doing for years is only working with things that are IN the file. The difference with Ai-enabled restoration now (I can only speculate) is the ability to add details from the neural network that "sounds like" the audio you're fixing. Aside from the frequency cleaning, it's now has the option to add from a sample base of voices that sound like the voice you're trying to repair and the ambiance surrounding it. That's my best guess coz there's no way you can thicken an out-of-mic range voice.
im using it at the moment pro version. I have used several other AI type restoration programmes including Cedar and waves and this is by far the best. It gives incredible tonal quality to the original voice and eliminates all noise with no artifacts. My work is in restoring for release very old cassette recordings of a well know teacher who didnt like being recorded at his conferences thus the poor recordings made by folks on their personal cassette decks !! UPDATE. If you are working on VERY poorly recorded audio ie signal to noise ratio is zero or minus it will not be as effefctive as say Izotope . IMO when hte noise is so overbearing it throws out the AI and some of the noise is treated as the voice source thus enhancing some lower frequecies. It is brilliant and imo the best for 'normal' noise leverls and the voice etc sounds brilliant but for terrible recordings - i have some work still to do on those -sniff - it isnt quite as good. Maybe tries to be a bit too clever.
This reviews has answered all the questions I wanted to ask thanks.. I finally subscribed! I use several of their products already, so I got a loyalty discount.
This is truly impressive… So many steps you had to to with RX to achieve this, now you can achieve better quality with one knob. We will lose our jobs😂😂
@@russhughes5368 I think it really depends. For more advanced stuff, yes. But for basic speech cleaning these tools in 3-5 years will be one click solution🙂
It’s always a matter of HOW to use certain plug-ins to achieve their individual best results. In fact, you still need to have some certain amount of audio knowledge in order to know which plug-in to use for which use case
@@TheLostGuitar For now, that is the case, but eventually machine learning will know what to do. Audio restoration is the perfect playground for AI/Machine learning. It is an exciting field and major progress is being made in very short periods of time.
Hello, good day, does dxRevive Pro need an exclusive ilok in addition to the pro tools license? To install it after purchasing it, which is requested to use it in my pro tools session. Excellent demonstration. Thank you.
I've been testing the demo today and it's very good. But as an addition to Rx. Also, it adds the weird AI sound if more than 30%, so best to keep it 20-30%.
Thanks for the review! This plugin crashes my system using the realtime version (CPU hog). I heard back from tech support, saying it won't work in realtime on "some machines" also there is a bug with the "studio" and "retain" button. I only see the "studio" button. Hopefully future versions will be more stable for me.

That's insane! Well done!
Is it just me but at 4:27 the voice is being "ghosted?" Artefacts introduced? Other than that, very impressive. Will have to try it. Thanks!
Absolutely fantastic!

Great, I have VoiceGate2 which is great, so how does this compare to VoiceGate?

Yeah, I noticed that in a couple of the examples in this video. Still, a very impressive plug-in and a definite purchase for me.
Great demo. Thanks
How’s this compare to Izotope Dialogue Isolate? Rx10
Holy crap, this would have saved me hours and hours of post-work for some contract work I had for tax law read into 9 languages a few years ago. wow.
