Yesterday morning I caught the most adorable moments between E21 and E22!!
Watch as both Es give playful beaky kisses and then both in sync, start tracking something flying around. I forgot to check cam 3 to see who or what it was. I was just so in love with what I had just witnessed.
These two are bonding more and more. With Harriet's disappearance, this is much more heart warming and meaningful to followers to help ease some of the sadness around the situation. I'm new to reporting on this nest so I can only imagine what others are feeling.
At first I thought the bonks from the older E21 at feedings were too much to watch but since then I've seen other nests where the babies really get beyond aggressive and made E21 seem like an angel! On the positive side, its brought E22 to hit milestones of self feeding before E21 and boy is E22 quick with the snatch and grabs! 🎣🐥
Nature sure can be rough to watch and sometimes hard to not humanize each situation but they really are driven by instincts we cannot fully understand. Just so grateful we get the opportunity and gift to observe.
The happy moments are everything.
