I think your content brings a good level of awareness to avalanche hazards. By no means does it replace true education, but you do a great job of outlining the hazard, your thought process, etc. If one person watches this video and changes their behavior in avalanche terrain or better yet decides to get educated, it's a success.
I haven’t talked about avy stuff this year as much as last year but I did a lottt of it last year and really tried to push people to get trained. Just a little reminder here and there is good
@@MuskokaFreerider it would have been interesting to hear Levi’s thought process. Keeping eye s on Caleb but also watching out for himself. Ive been wondering if a drone would be useful as a tool to survey the debris.
Honestly if you take anything from the footage of this avy it was a great example of poor terrain evaluation, dude rode right past two obvious signs of instability on the same aspect of a sub-blasted slope under a convex roll. The only thought process here was, "Sweet hip jump right there".
Hi! Now that you have an audience on youtube. Have you thought about teaming up with AvCan field teams in your region to add some avy content in your vids? They have a good rider's too & get paid to ride on our tax $!!!
Hey bud, we did essentially the same thing out of Montezuma, CO yesterday. What made the difference was basic protocol; we kept our gaps, moved pragmatically, and were able to stay free from the grasp of every slide. Biggest crown was 7'. The snow is heavy and all wind loaded slopes are ripe. Peace to ya brother.
Hey Matt me and my dad love your content and I was hoping that mabey you could take me out with you for a few days. Ever since I found out about you I have always wanted to meet you but snowmobiling with you would just make my life be so much different in so many ways
if i was going riding in the mountains i would definately want you with me you are very experienced rider and could learn alot from you and i been riding for forty years not in the mountains though
When you get Home it would be nice to see a video driving a boat around one of the lakes to show us all the new, plus old cabins / Mansions. Maybe even a little Walleye fishing.
You need me to send you a 12mm allen? LOL! This is a good reminder video that an Avy can happen even if you dont expect it. Glad they kept their spacing and reacted so quickly. As always Another Great Video Matt!
Don't expect it? The first thing I thought when I looked at that slope was that it's ripe to slide, sluff and pinwheeling on the exact same aspect and under a convex roll...
I wonder if you could approach sponsors this summer, say you want to do 100 days of riding vlogs next winter. See if you can get sponsorship $$$ to help with editing long form and short form and production in general?
I can't believe he broke his leg again. lol (I can laugh having broken my legs a number of times usually also in dumb ways) But what I really cant believe is that every Polaris does not have a spot to hold two of those Torqx bits. A place for two spark plugs, and right next to it a place for the bits, and possibly a torque wrench. lol
He never fails to surprise us haha yeah I was really unimpressed with polaris this season. If I had to rely on them this season I would've missed many days
So why is your sled not showing track speed, unplugged to keep the mileage down ?, hate to be the next owner hopefully they check the hour gauge before
Ya definitely unplugged the gauge and then posted a video about it for the world the see lol the little orange box on the top right of the dash says “loss comm with ECU”
Please explain the difference between rounded and faceted snowflakes and how that relates to snow pack stability. Not to mention convex and concave terrain features. Expand on how the changes of these four aspects of your environment directly affect decision making for group safety in the back country. For those of you who haven't, take an AVI 1 course. You and your friends will learn how to save each others lives and make smart survival choices in an unforgiving environment.

Thanks for another great season of content Matt!!!
My pleasure!
Deff Caleb's tracks at the edge and deff Caleb's track on the dirt xD
Man it is so great to see the crew still ripping. Caleb is a great addition to the crew this year.
What a gift the mountains are. Killer editing/shooting. Keep shredding the gnar. Appreciate you Matt.

7’ 😳 I’d be terrified haha
Thanks for another epic season to you and all the guys you ride with! To bad with the leg injury tho

looking good for some late season riding, Adventure Wrenching, and Corn Harvesting!
hey stay at this channel its going to blow up good content brother
Poo really needs to design a new clutch or just go back to the p85. These constant bandaids for the p22 don’t seem to be very reliable.
Subscribe Boys …this man deserves more!
Goood Video Matt I wanted to ride one last time 2 months ago . Snows gone in eastern Oregon
Great reminder that big jumps and flipd arent really all that for most folks.
Getting home and riding again in a day or two is tits.
As serious as that size avalanche is it's almost symbolic that it shaped out to a heart as if it was showing love and passion for sledding well.
Can you put in the description of your vids what the date of filming was?? Epic Content ✌
Thx. See ya next year 😊
the best videos on the U 📺

I'm sure the thumbnail didn't give you a hint about imagery. 😅
Caleb’s favourite word is momentum hahaha
phuuucckkenn Cans give me a headache 😂
Used to like em', now I hate em' lol
Can't believe you got 7:29 with the drone
I’m with you in the loud cans but I will sacrifice some noise for a hot lunch but I still wish my cooker can was quieter
"That's not how clouds normally work" Hahahaha oh man that got me laughing.
From shots infront of you the helmet makes you look exactly like some of the operator pictures on some old Tom clancys rainbow six games xD
Will you be doing more dirt biking this summer?
hey i get worried about you when you dont post for a few days watch out for avies stay safe man
So why hasn't Caleb had his clutch bolt come loose or break? Is he running a titanium bolt?
I don’t understand how he hasn’t haha stock everything. Uses and impact gun to torque clutch though 😂
I wonder if you could approach sponsors this summer, say you want to do 100 days of riding vlogs next winter. See if you can get sponsorship $$$ to help with editing long form and short form and production in general?
Possibly, I’d possibly be single if I rode that many days too haha
@@MuskokaFreerider hmmm yeah that's not optimal...
Sick video, close call with the avy. I'm sure the keyboard warriors and trolls had all the answers for ya.

That is a nice rock
How long is your ramp for the sleddeck?
We need more review on those curved running boards :D
I would’ve like to test it if the snow was deep

Did the bolt break or just back out? Had to be Caleb.
Hi muskoka
Shoulda rigged er up closer to the tip bud
mind blowing that no one had a clutch bolt tool....BAHAHAHAHA
Do you carry a t-60. I’ve never rode with anyone that doesn’t. Most people don’t carry a 1/2” ratchet…
@@MuskokaFreerider you just seem the person to be oh so prepared.
Jake didn’t get the fancy new SWOOSH intro? 😂
Neither did Levi lol I just do it for guys i frequently ride with
Is your 154 hitting max RPM? Sounds a couple hundred low…
could you do it in those mountains with 800 machines
It's great when u have a good gf that let's you stay longer to make kick ass content for everyone.
