Very nice introduction this is the first video of yours that I have seen I have liked and subscribed to your channel. Cad cam 3-D printer actually a good investment I am a small company Just purchased one thank you for the introduction.
hey just found your video, it's EXACTLY what I needed! If I may though, I'm a professional instructor and your "crutch words" uhs, ums, and mostly uhhhs break your instruction and make it really hard to learn from, good luck with the videos I'll be looking for more.
Hey! Can i send these designs to a 3d printer slicer (bambu studio) to print? I have a diamond and would like to create some samples for my girlfriend to try out.
OMG guys for those that don't know, this is the same kid that made his own dental aligners back in the day using 3d modeling software while he was in school!
Wow! This is amazing! Which software would you suggest to make 3d jewelry and hardware for accessories (buckles, rings, chains, zipper pulls, sliders, metal logos, etc.)? Zbrush or Blender? I think zbrush is a bit more "organic" and complete but I'm afraid it will be a bit uncovenient for more "geometric" designs. What do you think? Thanks!
@@luis_escobar..I try reaching out to them for designing purposes, but all I got was shipment details and business information instead of how to learn to design yourself.

The platinum material is just some minor edits of the Principled BSDF material, and then renamed Platinum. Turn the "metallic" slider up and see what happens! In the viewport, you can set the Matcap material to the silver-like Matcap you see in the view, but that only affects how the object displays when you're editing it.
@@AmosDudley Thank's for reaching out, i was struggling to find this matcap on 2.9 but at the end i undrestand that i had to download it from the 2.8 version, now everything is fine, thank you !!
Sadly, I really struggled with this one. Perhaps a separate video with setting default keys/buttons is needed, since I have no idea how you got to the menus you were using :/ Like, press and hold E does nothing for me.
Why does your wireframe modifier not modify all the wires? (At 1:14:20) You never expand the modifier fully and it doesn't make sense what it's doing...
Hi! The reason the model appears more complex before the Wireframe Modifier is applied, is that there's a final subdivide lurking at the end of the stack (after the wireframe modifier). So when we turn on the Wireframe Modifier, suddenly that last Subdivide is being applied to the "wireframed" model. Just a note, there are two wireframe functions mentioned in the video. There's "Wire" setting that just shows the edges of the underlying geometry (that's found in the object panel under Display). And then there's the Wireframe Modifier, which changes the actual geometry to make tubes wherever there is an edge. If you're still having trouble, try adding the exact same stack to a simple cube and see what happens when you turn them on and off.
@@AmosDudley I got it working buy my final geometry was not as appealing as yours. The starting geometry has quite an impact on the look of the final result. My mesh had squares and yours started from more elongated squares which makes quite a difference
@@AmosDudley great tegnique tho for making blender a more parametric based modeler, I'm definitely gonna experiment more with it! Do you have any advice for doing dimensional constraints in Blender? Currently I mostly use Solidworks because I did more structural engineering stuff. Now I'm getting more into design and love the freedom blender gives me but of course still have dimensionaal stuff to take into account
The ring looks amazing. Isn't the problem with blender that you can't see all the parameters and you cannot do things like easily adjust the size of the stone or ring band once the project is underway? I'm still going to use blender as it's free and most of my stuff is custom work (different each time) and needs and organic flow anyway
Cause: FREE? Neither ZBrush or Rhino isn't and they both have a learning curve, they're all as "complicated" as the next. None of them are difficult to understand.
i do not like this video because he does not explain in detail in how he does thing like how he make the ring thinker the way he says does not work in 3.0

but i'll suggest your "matrix (gemvision)" its best for jwellery Designing. you can also make indian jwellery using matrix
