We really enjoyed our meal at Chesapeake's. I can see why you thought we might be on the Eastern Shore from the name. I know they have good seafood in that area. It's hard to beat fresh seafood. So glad you are enjoying the videos. This restaurant was very impressive to be in the mountains. We loved the view and thought the service was outstanding. There is something calming about water. Happy Father's day to my you tube Dad, even though I'm older than David.haha Great video the interior of the restaurant was very nice and the outdoor seating rocked. The food looked right on point for a seafood restaurant. Cindy your fish and pasta seemed to be very moist and juicy! Carly's chowder was surely loaded up and thick. David's seafood platter was very eye appealing, scallops are also my favorite. That bread and raisin rolls and butter was a great starter. Cindy I can't remember what you thought about the Mac n cheese, it looked good . My wife and I eat out at local restaurants most of the time, but it's nice to step it up and go some places special 🎉 I hope you guys have a great week and God Bless you 🇺🇸
Thanks for the Father's Day wishes! Chesapeake's is a beautifully decorated restaurant. But that outside seating, listening to the water, is hard to beat. Everything we had was absolutely delicious. I was surprised at the taste of the lobster alfredo sauce. I wasn't sure that I would like it but it was great! It had a hint of a sweet taste to it. The chowder was loaded with lots of goodness. David loves good scallops, and he said on his next visit he would either get just the scallops again or try the fried oysters.
The bread was amazing! I don't think I said a lot about the mac n cheese. I was beyond full from the pasta dish. I had the mac n cheese before at Cherokee Grill (sister restaurant) and really loved it. It was just too much pasta having the main dish and then the mac n cheese. This didn't seem to be quite as spicy as what I remembered from Cherokee Grill. It was still good.

I’ve been dying to try this place . All your seafood looked great with one exception . New England Clam Chowder is White only Carly’s looked pinkish ? Maybe it was the lighting . This was a great video . Happy Father’s Day to David . Quite the shirt today !
You definitely need to try it out. They have different fresh fish daily, which is what I got. It must have been the lighting on Carly's soup. I don't recall it looking pinkish. The bread was outstanding and we all enjoyed our dishes. David's favorite was the scallops out of his seafood. If you go definitely try to sit outside if it's nice weather. Definitely try it out Phillip. As you saw in the video the parking lot is directly beside the restaurant. Parking is what I dislike the most about Gatlinburg. It’s always a pain. I’m think you will enjoy Chesapeakes. Hope you have a great weekend!

Yalls food looked great. I'd choose what David ordered and Carly's clam chowder for the appetizer. Indeed pricey but on a special occasion, it seems fine.

the scallops looked a bit hard to cut through, but as long as he loved them, thats all that matters.. i like mine way less done so they cut easy but again, its all about preference.

Do you know if the patio is heated to be able to enjoy it in February? Where is the best place to park to enjoy this restaurant and how much is parking? Everything looked good. Do you have any suggestions for any other restaurants that offer a river view?
We do know that there were outdoor heaters on the patio. However, we don't know if they close the patio during the winter. There is a parking lot directly beside Chesapeake's (right before you get to the restaurant if you are coming from Pigeon Forge). When we went it was $10 to park there. Another restaurant that has a beautiful river view is The Peddler. You would need to request a window seat with a view of the river. It is not an outside patio but a view from inside the restaurant. We have 2 reviews of there on our channel. We really enjoy going there. Thanks for watching and commenting.

It was outstanding. You don’t mind paying more if the quality is good. The seafood was fresh and fixed to perfection. We hate having to pay to park when we go out to eat but it’s part of Gatlinburg. Happy Father’s Day!
