Thank you Tony for a very good review of the 22 Avalon Limited.. I won't get mine until hopefully June from Smart in Davenport Ia.. Really helped me to see every thing on the car. since they didn't have to look at.. Can't wait, again thank you.
Good job with the video, VERY informative. It was very hard to get, and I had to pay $5,000 OVER sticker price but I'm now the proud owner of a 2022 Avalon. It had to be shipped from 2,000 miles away, further adding to the price. A couple of items were not discussed. First, in the video he does show the Light Switch. You may not have noticed it, but a terrific feature unique to Toyota is "DRL off" on the light switch. Most other car manufacturers will make you look like a sissy by driving around with your lights on during the daytime. Two government studies have shown NO benefit of having your lights on during the day. Daytime Running Lights are nothing more than a decoration. Further, there are many situations where you want all lights off on the vehicle. Maybe you're going through a drive-through and your lights are shining into someone's windows, drive-in movies, waiting for someone outside in your car at night. Avalon does have Daytime Running Lights, but it does not FORCE you to use them if you don't want to. Nice. Avalon does NOT have the universally loathed the engine Start / Stop technology. Avalon features a normally aspirated powerful V6 engine. Turbo charging should always be avoided. It allows manufacturers to use a smaller engine but it over-works the small engine when you need more power and these engines will always wear out faster. Sadly, Toyota still has a Dangerous Navigation Systems that does not allow the PASSENGER to input an address while the vehicle is moving. (The always unreliable voice recognition causes more distraction than anything else. ) Because of this dangerous feature, people are forced to do additional driving and maneuvering to get the car in Park and then back onto the road. The good news about Toyota navigation is that it is Factory navigation, which is vastly superior compared to using your iPhone with Apple CarPlay. Factory navigation is more accurate and is not dependent upon an intermittent cell phone connection. I've noticed on another car that uses a cell phone connection that the navigation system shows me where I WAS about 30 seconds ago, not where I am. I'm a little disappointed they got rid of the 3.5 mm Audio jack. I know I'm a little old-school for still wanting this, but they only saved about a dollar by omitting it. Overall, I'm very happy with my Avalon. Yes, discontinuing the Avalon May force some people to buy Lexus, on the other hand, the lack of an Avalon alternative in the Toyota family may cause people to pursue another manufacture completely unrelated to Toyota. I would not take that risk if I was Toyota. When my Avalon was delivered I noticed there were two signs and the windows that read "NOT FOR SALE”. The dealership told me they had to do this to cut down on people trying to buy the vehicle after it was already committed to me. I don't think they're exaggerating, I spent over 100 hours locating this vehicle.
I should have waited before saying anything in the 1st video. Glad to see how big and beautiful the car and trunk are. Thank you for making the videos on going to watch pt 3 now
I wrecked my 2019 avalon limited 2 weeks ago… I want to replace with this one .. is it a good idea.. if this the last year they are making the Avalon. I had the blizzard pearl with cognac interior
toyota the plan will not work. we will buy the decked out camry next time around if the avalon is not available. we will not be shelling out more money for the lexus. sorry.
I have a 2007 Toyota Avalon Limited. Has nearly 280K miles and still going great.
I am surprised it does not have a power trunk close button. That is a nice feature and should be expected on the Limited trim.
Does it have memory Gateway power adjustable seats for the passenge?
Thanks for video, Avalon is great car and nothing will be replaced like Avalon.
The Toyota's flagship. The best.

Very competently done. Find me a cognac interior!

Scotty says Honda makes great turbo engines, at least the 2.0liter
I am glad that Avalon doesn't have that stupid start and stop feature. 😊

There is a nob under my radio right by the lighter , what is that?
Is the interior, and all of the specs the same as the 2022 Avalon Limited Hybrid?
Thanks for watching Cindy. Yes, the specs are identical. Are you planning to buy one?
@@TalkingCarBizI already did, and I love it. Glad everything is the same. Thanks!
@@cindylk11 what colour would you think is the best?
You completely avoided the headroom issue in backseat!
