What do these machines do if they're left to run in a confined space? assuming that they detect that they have markedly reduced supply of oxygen to concentrate, and excess concentration of nitrogen as well? Do they alarm if this happens, or keep cycling the nitrogen in and out even after the availability of oxygen is gone? Thank you.
These machines put out 750ml to 5 liters per minute. There's 28 liters per cubic feet. There's 800 cubic feet in a small 10x10 8 foot tall room, or about 22,000 liters. 4,500 liters of that is oxygen. It would take 900 minutes (about 15 hours) to use up the O2 if the room was totally air tight with a 5L per minute machine. You shouldn't be locking yourself in a 10x10 airtight room if you have breathing problems anyway. However if you must, they come with long hoses, so just run the hose to the room, & keep the machine in another room.
The machine doesn't use o2. it separates it and vents both the o2 via the canula and the nitrogen via the exhaust back into the room where they recombine. You could run the concentrator in a sealed room forever and not change the o2 level of the room. Its interesting though to think of this. If you had a room where there was a serious chance of combustion you could seal it, run the concentrator in it, and have the o2 hose port into another room. No o2 no combustion problem solved. Maybe not very efficient but could work, especially for long term situations.
@@flyingsodwai1382 Correction: You could "run it forever" *IF* no person was breathing in the O2,which is not the case. Interesting the idea of filling a room with nitrogen for fire-proofing (no O2),but i guess rooms are difficult to completely seal off.

The Zeolite in these traps the nitrogen from the air under pressure of 20.5psi, but allows the O2 to pass through. There are only trace amounts of hydrogen in the atmosphere. Your easiest source of hydrogen would be through the electrolysis of water (H20).
Also where would you get hydrogen to concentrate? in our air there's only 500 PPB. That's B for billion. That translates to .00005%. It'd take (and i am guessing) decades to filter out enough to be usable.

Basically when you concentrate, it means to shift the element like from gas form to liquid with condensation to make a stronger/larger percentage in a area of it in one mass. you can't actually make elements by concentrating it/Generate. So it doesn't actually "make" that element it just releases it from its current state. So really only something like the LHC actually Make things/Generate more elements. So while you can Generate electricity you can't Generate more gold. but you can concentrate more of it together in a larger mass from smaller bits.

Ask Your #PROVIDER to #CHECK the #SIEVE_BEDS for #LEAKS! It maybe #BROKEN_UP #ZEOLITE_PELLETS You see as #WHITE_POWDER.
+Janice laru-an And ask Your #PROVIDER for the #PRICE of #NEW #SIEVE_BEDS, to #REPLACE #LEAKING #SIEVE_BEDS. It sounds like Your HUSBAND shouldʻve gone back till He could get a #LOANER CONCENTRATOR, BREATHING in #White_Powder bad for Him! Hope He can get much better son!!
What's the maintenance ?
if the filter media becomes saturated, it can be dried in an oven at 100-200f for a few hours. over 350f temperature can destroy sieve
how do you PM a respironics everflo concentrator?
WHAT do You #Meaan #PM a #RESPIRONICS_EverFLO?!?! I am a #PROUD USER of My #RESPIRONICS_EverFLO_Q_OPI since #THANKSGIVING_2015 Due to #BRINCHITIS! I SO #NAMED Him #WARD_The_OXYGEN_CONCENTRATOR, after #WARD_MEDICAL_SERVICES, #ST_AUGUSTINE_32086
how do you preventive maintenance (PM) a respironics concentrator? What do you do to keep it up in other words?
getting #sick with all the #hashmarks. What happened to #good #old #writing rules?

Can this be converted into a hydrogen concentrator? Or can you make a hydrogen concentrator?
no..that involves a totally different process than what is used in here
The Zeolite in these traps the nitrogen from the air under pressure of 20.5psi, but allows the O2 to pass through.
Does it compress/concentrate room air Radon gas and deliver it in with the Oxygen? i.e.: 95% oxygen 5% Radon as output?
thanks
What would typically cause a low concentration alarm?
#LIGHTNUNG_STORMS!!! Wē had a #STORM KNOCK OUT #POWER in #EASTER_2916 Evening for about #10SECS, (We have #BACKUP POWER), My #RESPIRONICS_EverFLO_Q_OPI went #BBBBEEEEEEEEPPPP!!!!? W/O #LEDS, #CAPACITOR
There white powder coming out what does that mean
What brand is it?
Ok i was just trying to repair these machines for my father.....he needs constant use.....but main problem i found doing these service works..( excuse me arab nomad from desert)....is the product tank...yes that guy is a baddass.....because pressure sensors directing solenoid valves and also switching timers from pcb.....should take their descisions from pressure sensor mounted on the product tank.....this way we wouldnt care about anything else...but the pressure given to the zeolite....
Do concentrators make noise?
They make them as quiet as they can. You can hear the compressor and a pop now and then
Yes!
What's the deference between concentrator and generator
Basically when you concentrate, it means to shift the element like from gas form to liquid with condensation to make a stronger/larger percentage in a area of it in one mass.
you can't actually make elements by concentrating it/Generate. So it doesn't actually "make" that element it just releases it from its current state. So really only something like the LHC actually Make things/Generate more elements. So while you can Generate electricity you can't Generate more gold. but you can concentrate more of it together in a larger mass from smaller bits.
They're the same thing. Beware of O3 ozone generators though. O3, AKA ozone is very bad for your lungs, & corrosive.
Dang I just subscribed!!!!! Now you got 666 subs! Kinda feel bad for ya!
Why is this machine so loud,,i cannot sleep,,i keeps a headache 😫 it is loud 🤔 why😢loud
I am glade god gave me a brain to understand how things work way above that of a technician but I also did things like drinking and other things that it interfered with my schooling, stay in school don't let so called friends talk you into partying and don't let teachers program your individuality to be a robot be yourself.
+Jesse Reiter bless you Jesse, your a smart man
Nitrogen molecules are larger than oxygen....
can you give me prise list of this machine?
$2,500-$6,500 in the USA. $250-$500 in the rest of the world... it's how the USA expensive medical system works. Everybody gets filthy rich off the desperate pain relieving or life saving medical needs of the consumer. There's only $100-$200 of parts & materials inside these.

@@PSKResearch God you’re obsessed. Smoke some weed or something and calm down
how zeolite sieves remove nitrogen completely
depending on the size of the sieve, it will allow different molecular sizes through, and not others.
do they or oxygen concentrator have platinum plates?
Mine is making a loud noise during the night
you keep mentioning "sid bed"...that seems to be the core of the machine, I wish you'd explain what's in there...and what's going on in there. Thanks.
Sieve bed, think of it as a strainer for gasses other than O2. If you search for "sieve bed" you'll find a bunch of vids on how they work.

highly flammable, gas, these machines will produce gas as long as they are running, shame it cant be hooked up to a vehicle.
Oxygen is NOT a flammable gas, but it is an oxidizer that will make anything that can burn, burn much faster.
@@dalmatiangirl61 lol "oxygen is not flamable" theese humans they have nowadays
