I've been a pretty casual Ninjago fan for most of its run. But since it debuted and I was 11, Cole has always been my favourite Ninja. It is so cool to see him finally get a mech like this. The only thing it's missing, if you ask me, is a scythe.
Absolutely, feels like he’s ignored a lot but I think they’ve made up for it with this mech
Sadly Cole stopped using a scythe like 7 years ago now, with a single "scythe" in 2020 being an exception. He is a hammer guy now
Agreed, though I'm sure you can easily make a custom scythe with some Bionicle pieces
If the Cole Titan Mech is priced fairly I'll definitely pick it up, the mech itself is incredible and I kinda like the fact that they only included a single figure, it allowed the designers to pretty much focus their entire budget on the main mech build which is an extreme rarity. The Cole figure is decent, kinda wish it had some specialised printing like side arm, but I still love it for its uniqueness alone.
It's gonna be $100 usd I believe
those are good points but..... Ninjago bad guys are some of the best minifigs. i always appreciate getting a few in each set
Cole has a very Exo-force torso. I like it.
The combo vehicle is rumored to be $90, which is, in my opinion, a rather insane price, perhaps even worse than that of Arins' buggy released in March. No idea why LEGO would do so, but I really wish the unofficial info to be incorrect in this case.
Honestly, the legs are giving major Gundam Frame vibes, with the curved knee pieces and frame in the back of legs. I also think it’s fun that the blade of the ornithopter is being adapted to be a large sword, instead of just staying as a one-set piece.
They look so good so far! Hope we get a massive Source Dragon!!
I love the Cole mech, well deserved, and about time he got a big set!!
There is a source dragon coming up
I appreciate how they began to have the top and bottom of the mask to have the same black color, it’s a step in the right direction
I’m very interested to see where they go with that Evil Jay minifigure because Jay’s never been evil in the show unlike Zane, Lloyd, Cole, or Kai.
Man that Cole mech looks beautiful. They been killin it with the mechs lately. Hopefully the 1 minifig will help the price
I don't buy lego sets very often anymore but that Cole mech has really piqued my interest and I'd love to see you review it!
The one minifig and a lack of side builds is a clear sign that this is a prototype UCS for aged-out Ninjago fans. Pose the mech, put cole on a stand, display like a star wars UCS
The Ornithopter propeller as a sword is amazingly cool
Cole Titan Mech reminds me of old STARWARS V-19 Torrent which also includes 1 pilot figure for such big set.
Also, is that an Ornithopter blade in gold?
I’d really enjoy seeing you review the tournament arena because you are one of the best reviewers in the community but if not I’d understand why
I'm completely fine with one mini-figure. With all my other mechs, I display them with the pilot and any side build gets built and thrown in a drawer. If the price is able to be lower because of the single figure I'm cool with it.
I’m really loving the look of the Cole Titan mech, that series of sets has consistently become my favorite sets of recent years. I get why people may be upset it doesn’t come with more figures, though personally I always thought they felt superfluous in the other sets.
Another titan mech for my collection
that mech looks amazing! Its massive, looks decently articulate and I really like the color scheme! I hope the lack of minifigures does reflect in the price though ^^
If the mech's price will be about 90/100$ then I really like the change! I don't care about Minifigures anyways, so maybe I will be able to get another mech in my mech collection! That isn't overpriced, at least
I love that color scheme for Cole in the mech set
The mech is an instant buy. This looks so exotic. They really did a good job here. I wonder how well it articulates.
Biggest Ninjago Max so far and I absolutely love the commitment to keeping the minifigure head exposed 😍😍😍😂😂😂
I’m a Cole fan. Been starving for Cole stuff. I would be shocked and appalled to know an expensive Ninjago set came with 1 fig. This is an exception. Such a cool cole, and my fave looking mech ever! Better than Lloyd’s and Jay’s.
Really want to see you review the tournament arena!
These Ninjago Gundams are AWESOME!
Yeah, if it's gonna bring the price down, I will feel fine. It's nice to collect all the ninjas from the wave, but ultimately, the main thing for me is the set, and this is breathtaking.
I'm not a Ninjago fan, but as a fan of mecha anime, this is speaking to me (yes astray)!
All these sets are neat , still wish for a base plate for dragon shrine . Maybe that new battle set can sit near it and moc together
The Ninja have a new Wakizashi short sword sidearm. Samurai traditionally carry a katana + wakizashi pair called a daisho.
Cole's suit (- the mask) would look great as new gen Exo Force Moc. Love how the Gundam'ish the whole mech looks...PLEASE BE AFFORDABLE!
This reminds me of the exoforce era, loving it
I really like Cole's mech. On top of looking great, it lacks superfluous side builds and extra minifigs that would just get thrown in storage anyway. Of course, I'm saying this as an adult builder who's hoping for a better priced set.
I've noticed that all the titan mechs have white in their color schemes, I like it a lot, it gives me proper sci fi anime mecha vibes
These mechs looks amazing great review jang 👍
While it has its flaws and issues, the Ninjago theme continues to be quite imaginative. The designs choices are interesting to see each wave. Evil Jay? Where is Zane, or Master Wu for that matter? I really expected to see a spirit version of him by now…
Please review all 3 of these sets, if you can, and I’d like to see how the Cole mech (and new combo vehicle) compares to recent sets like the large Combo Mech, or the red Monkie-esque Kai mech that is still available to purchase.
Parts of the mech design visually reminds me of the old Creator set Titan XP. Especially (but not exclusivly) parts of the legs and feet. I just think that is cool. xD
And I love how this mech looks overall. I don't really care about Ninjago but some of the mechs really interest me.
Its actually not measured the tallest by the wings, rather the shoulders are the measure for the tallest mech.
It is also the most posable mech of all time.
The mech sets have never really done it for me as an adult, but this one looks very cool.
big fan of coles mech, ive been an avid enjoyer of the titan mech series and was waiting for a new one to come out. cannot wait for nya and kais titan mechs. also i was a bit confused by the white inclusion as well but it makes a lot more sense seeing how since lloyds titan mech through jays, they all have white accents. helps continue the vibe through them
I also like the white on coles mech, it matches the titan mechs that have come before
The Cole Titan Mech looks sick, it reminds me so much of Exo-force as do the other Mechs this year. Hopefully it's not too overpriced. The color scheme is similar to the Nu Gundam which is immediate points in favor for me as it's one of my favorite Gundams.
I don't know much about Ninjago, I came here as a Gunpla fan and I reckon the Cole mech will be VERY popular with that crowd!
Yes, finally a cool titan again! It was about time cole getting its own large mech, and I like the way it turns in a zane titan direction again somehow! really looking forward to see a jang review on it! and of course bying and maybe modifying it. 😎
Can you please review the dragon stone shrine? I bought this set and i absolutely love it. Its perfect for older builders and an overall beautiful build. Figures are great too. 10/10 set for me
Man , these ninjago mechs are the closest thing to gundam sets. Each and every one of them are always so cool
Loving the mech design. Strike noir
The mech definitely feels like it's more aimed at collectors, I don't really see any noteworthy play features in the set aside from moving joints. Out of these, I still probably like it the most. That splash of white looks surprisingly good, although I'm not sold on Cole's outfit.
i believe the "largest *titan* mech" claim refers to both size and number of pieces, as it has the most out of any of the other titan mechs (70676, 71738, and 71785). also, as much as some people may not like the white being part of the color scheme, that's just how it goes for titan mechs. if it didn't have the white, it wouldn't fit in with its sibling sets!
Definitely wanna see a review of Cole’s mech!
The Mech looks Great.
I really like the Cole mech!
cole's suit design reminds me of an Evangelion plug suit, and the mech is an awesome design. So so so tired of white and gold overuse in lego sets today, across so many lines, but what can you do
I think I’ll actually buy this since it’s so generally branded and just looks like a mech
Not even into ninjago but the cole mech looks epic might pick it up
Those new energy effects would be great for some super hero or more importantly a few spider man villain if done in sold red or black
I am not crazy about mechs, but definitely will try to have Cole's mech.
I keep coming back to this video as I really want the big cole mech. It reminds me so much of Evangelion especially the minifgure. I would really appreciate a review on it to see your thoughts on its values and how it works before buying it! Thanks!
I have been wanting more display sets and this to me doesn't feel too overpriced. It isn't only for display though but I think visually it is very appealing to me enough so that i want to get it. Looks fun
I got the mech.
Its amazing, incredable, perfect. I love it
Very nice looking. The little side builds were usually to pad the part count and that mech looks way more display than play.
really nice mec
I really want to see you review the dreams Junkyard T Rex, Pterosaur set. That’s the only one I have a preference to see.
I wanna see the mech, cause like come on its jang lol
I would love to see a review of the mech!
As often as Lego does robots, it’s really weird that they didn’t reboot Exo-Force. I‘ll definitely pick up Cole’s Mech if it’s reasonably priced as it reminds me of EF
For a moment I was wondering if that was an Ornithopter wing blade in gold! But it's different and must be smaller.
I don't follow Ninjago lore or the series, but I'm super interested in this new titan mech. I'm starting to get into mechs and this looks to be the best looking mech lego has released.
I don't care about minifigs, and don't care about the colour scheme not matching to the named character. This set is marketed to me.
wooooow!!! I love it !!!!
Cole's mech looks amazing, but the one minifig is egregious! There should be a couple bad guys included.
I hope with the Cole Titan Mech Lego makes more Mech sets, I miss Exo-Force.
The mech looks good.
I think they did the right thing with just a mech and a fig. I am adult collector, so maybe I'm not the main audience, but I've gotten sets like this, including the 140 euro Monkie Kid Mech, and while I love the mech itself, all the extra side figures have done is sit on my shelf collecting dust. I mean, they look kinda cool, sure, but I didn't buy it for them and could have done without.
Please make a review of the arena. I'm interested to hear your thoughts about it.
Man I’ve been waiting to get a Ninjago mech and I think I might just bite the bullet for the Cole one.
My guesses on prices, $119 for the mech, $80 for the team vehicle, $85 for the battle arena. Ninjago prices are getting up there.
Ninjago Lego quality edges closer to being able to one day build a decent looking Gundam.
This might be the first Ninjago set I get in a very long time, depending on the price. Sure I’d love to have some others I missed in the past… I’m just trying to say that Lego definitely did something right here.
Really hoping for the Cole Mech to not cross the $120 line ($100 would be lovely! I don’t think we’re lucky enough to get another $60 or $80 Titan mech like Zane or Jay’s again), I’ve got a collection of the Titan mechs since Lloyd’s in 2019. This Cole mech actually fits quite well with Jay’s by including significant white portions, so I hope that remains a consistent theme across them as they (hopefully) release more!
I don't mind the fact that there is only 1 minifigure, but his colour scheme is way off. I get that white is the base colour here, but he has more orange than black!
Mech with one minifig is a really bold move by Lego. I'm all for better more substantial build and less minifigs but it will be really interesting to see if this impacts the price if at all. I'm betting around 120-145 given the size and piece count but really hope it's less.
I'm hoping that due to it only having that awesome Cole minifigure, it will only be $60 to $70 at most, because I kinda want the Cole mech as long as I'm not breaking the bank. I also love the minifigures in the other 2 sets, dwindling doing great with those
It will be strange seeing such a big box w just one minifig on it.
For a second I thiught this was Exoforce 2.0, that'd be cool.
Look ar the bottom blade on kais weapon in the last set shown, its a lego wakizashi! Dont know why it took them this long to make one.
These sets are awesome
The mech looks great, but it has too much white imo
The ninja team vehicle is decent
The tournament battle arena is awesome, especially the minifigures. The statue could work well for the entrance to the tomb of the FSM
The evil Jay minifigure is amazing, as well as the other ones. Tox coming in a set is great
when it comes to gundams when i see the cole mech, i see the schwarzette or sengoku astray.
not sure which one has the colour scheme you mentioned tho. The impulse does have the white lower arm and legs, coloured shoulders (depending on the pack), so the blocking works.
EX Impulse is the one I was thinking of.
The combo vehicle is supposedly 90$...
I hate all sides minibuilds, it's clunky, it takes up space and augment price. Cole mech is insane and beautiful, i decided to not buy dragon's rise sets for personnal reasons, but i changed my mind for Cole and will add Dragon Stone Shrine cause i was really on the fence about this model.
4:50 I disagres, Ultra Stealth Raider looked phenomenal when split up, each could have been its own unique looking set
Also the 90$ price, I think its okay, feels like a basic ninjago core set to me but the price just makes it vanish
I think they look good, but i´m not sure about the theme this one is going.
Also, I think it would be interesting to see how the Lloyd´s vehicle splits, and your reaction to it.
I have the other 3 “titan” mechs and I really like the design of these mechs. I hope it’s not scaled too big compared to the others… I can’t remember if the other ones came with side builds or not tho.
Lloyd and Zane's Titan Mech only came with additional figures, albeit a fair number of specialised ones. Jay's had a small missile cart build as well as a number of figures too
I personally don't care about Minifigures so Cole's mech is a plus for me.😂
literally if they included Geo I'd be happy. I don't like the 1 minifigure slot I'd say that regardless of it's focus on the incredible build. For Ninjago, sets need more than 1. Not a fan is the tread vehicle. Tournament battle arena looks great with the statue, drum and stairs but the small bridge and area to the right looks under detailed and a bit neglected. For 50$ it looks good though.
It wound be cool if tox join the ninja team 🎉
See how they specifically say, that it's the biggest TITAN mech to date and not the biggest ninjago mech or lego mech in general? It's accurate, because there've been only three titan mechs, that came out before this one (Lloyd's, Zane's and Jay's).
This whole Titan mech status isn't even about the scale of a build, it's just a naming scheme for big mechs, that happen to use a lot of white in their color pallettes, and that's why other large ninjago mechs released in recent years are excluded from that classification, despite their numerous shared stylistic similarities and building techniques.
I'd say this one looks to be close in size to the Combo Mech and the 2022 Samurai X mech. In my eyes the actual biggest ninjago mech would still be Cole's, but it'd be his often forgotten movie one, it's just as tall as the others on top of being very wide and chunky all around and having the most pieces (~1200). Largest lego mech ever is the 2022 UCS-style Hulkbuster.
Is that the same blade from the Ornithopter?
I honestly don't care about minifigures, as long as there's enough to fill every role in a set (I'm looking at you Republic vehicles)
Looks like a Gundam
This looks like Exo force 2
Given the number of mechs that we get from LEGO these days, it makes me wonder why they don't just bring back EXO-FORCE or reintroduce it as part of the Ninjago Universe.
The cole mech is bassicaly confirmed to be 100$
