Gimme a break.. that was most definitely a RED card action.. and should have been treated as such! That was a terrible call. I've seen comments about guys saying, "Hey, ladies, it's a contact sport". Funny how they forget Zidane in the World Cup final. I found the clip on CBC, btw.

That should be a PK ON the Mexico. Did you see clearly that Mex player nudged her forehand on Smith that made her falling forward! Yes!!! It’s the foul, in this case , it’s the PK should have been rewarded to Canada!!! This is only a friendly game. The ref ignores it for whatever she thinks but if it’s in the Olympic…. The Canadian Woman soccer team played very weakly against Mexico on June 4th. They had a lot of Errors. They could not even make any Goal opportunities in the box! Coaches brought in Two over weighted players in the second half while the best players were sitting on the bench!
I don't think it was a penalty, she ran into the path of the Mexican player .. Canada is really disjointed around the net, it seems, they kick it blindly towards the box and hope for the best .. that's their offense.
Ok , excuse me. I would have gone to see J. Hutiema play. Anyways, they threw away the game according to these highlights. They had at least a chance to score two goals. The midfield of the Can.WNT moves the ball better. Just that they got too confident, a little tired. Could not press enough and the mexican girls have some tricks up their sleeves. However from what these highlights show they are a (literally) a tank of a mid field compared to Mexico. Just not enough finishing touches or the patience delivery to be calm enough and pick the spots that are needed. The organization that it takes for a goal to be scored and demoralized the opponent. I hope they find that. Go Canada. Love J. Hutiema. doesnt really matter she has a b.f. bt omg. And that foul on her running down the line was a total total red card.
