This game seems super fun to open. So many variants are possible in all the slots, it really keeps your interest through the whole pack. A much better experience than just discarding all the commons right away.
i agree! although I would love to have some different foil treatment, like textured ones from One Piece TCG!
I have seen some of the textured foils in Pokemon, those are quite nice. It would be cool to see them in SWU. Thanks for the unboxing!
@@LotharHS I'm not a big foil guy, so I just want to make sure the foil cards don't Pringle. If they don't, I'm good :). Although, I will say, I would chase full art versions of all cards. I love the no border style.

Your excitement is contagious! Some amazing pulls, too. But I especially love how happy your are about the ships.
In case you weren't aware, Aggression, the red legendary you pulled costs 4 so long as you're running a red leader and a red base. That's what the two red icons on it mean. If you only have one red among your leader/base, it costs +2. Which, especially in limited, is still worth it in my opinion.

Didn't know you tried a little of the classic SWCCG. The GOAT of card games! Been completing my collection as much of possible over the past few years. Great fun, but very expensive.
Unlimited looks way better than my expectations. The box opening / collecting seems great. And you can play sealed with as little as four boosters, which is awesome. Art is hit or miss, but overall much better than I expected. Gameplay isn't really innovative, but it's fun and focuses on the units which is good.
Great video, watching it and listening on my second monitor while I do some work.

I had to edit this because it really seemed you won't notice it until the end. I agree that Hyperspace Art looks just so much better. Still, they seem to be common enough to not be crazy collector stuff only. About the Art at the bottom for events: It really helps to recognize how many units and how many events are in my hand without checking into too much detail. You just notice at first glance when looking at your hand in paper. When a lot of brainpower is needed in a pinge, you will appreciate this design choice :) I like it!

Those 2 cards you thought were slightly bigger, the border is gone on one of them. I’m thinking it’s an unnumbered variant or an error print.
I don't think Agression will be a stapple because it has 2 red as cost, meaning each red you don't have rise the price by 2, meaning it gets costly real quick if you don't have both a leader and a base with red

The artwork is only on the bottom for the event cards I think. I'm assuming it's to more easily distinguish that an event is being played? Regardless the full art events look sooooo much better than the base event cards.
Do you know if each booster box has all possible cards that are made for the game right now or does one have to potentially buy two+ in order to get every card?
you will not find the whole set in 2 boxes, maybe you can find all commons in 2 boxes but def not raresa and Legendaries
Just curious, have you ever played the card/board game, "Dominion"? It's one of my favorites.
Dominion is a revolutionary game. If i remember correctly it was the first deckbuilding game! Loved it although now its not a game i would enjoy because i played it so much.

The average is 1 legendary per 8 packs. You can beat the average especially if lucky in the hyoerspace/foil slot. My guess is you could also be unlucky and pull less than 3.

Would've been interesting for me as a collector if they all were baseline like the hyperspace versions. The bordered cards look too crowded with shit that distracts from the artworks. Guess I'll pass.

BUY SINGLES PEOPLE. I’ve opened a bunch of these now and the most legendaries I’ve gotten is 3. Most boxes will only have 3 legendaries not 6. He either got super lucky or something else is going on. HE SOMEHOW GOT DOUBLE THE AVERAGE AMOUNT OF LEGENDARIES. THAT WILL NOT BE YOUR EXPERIENCE

those cards look unbelievably cheap
if there was ever a company/IP that should have a high production value it would be this but it looks like garbage. the majority of the art is absolute trash i wouldnt be surprised they just copy pasted from other cheap junk and the card design may have been made in MS paint
Art is subjective but the frames are imo inspired by 90s retro cards and thats why people like it or hate it.
I personally like the no-frame cards better and some artwork is awesome, some is worse. You have the same in every card game.
@@LotharHS i didnt search anything star wars i think you were recommended to me bc of other game related stuff i watch. im not knocking you i will check out some of your other videos but you arent going to convince me disney isnt a dumpster fire. billion dollar company with one of the biggest IPs of the last 100 years but i see crowdfunded games with better production value. to me this reeks of lazy cash grab.
They’re working with lucasfilm for this game and Disney only touches the stuff they have produced (7-9 and live action Disney shows) lol. Cards look great!
