Fantasy Flight Games & GameGenic hosted the Star Wars Unlimited Community event on Feb 9-11 in Minnesota, and we were invited to participate.
During the Star Wars Unlimited Community Event, we were generously given a booster box with 24 booster packs. After cracking those packs, we wanted to discuss the different rarities available for players and collectors!

The foil leader is not curling because it is foiled on both sides. The reason foils curl is because of the hot stamp foiling contracting as it cools. When you foil both sides it counteracts the curl on either side.

I dont get why hyperspace foil is still labeled as common. They are super hard to find so you'd think the common unfoiled one should have the foil version at uncommon or rare.

Thanks for that really appreciate the explanation. Note that I think comparing the showcase card to a regular foiled card in Lorcana isn’t representative of the beauty Lorcana cards can have. It should have been compared to an enchanted card which would be it’s equivalent.
Unfortunately, we don't have any enchanted cards at home right now to compare.
In the SW decipher sets we needed about 3-4 boxes to complete the sets. I guess now its more lol. Excited again for the first time in 20 years!
The fun part about Star Wars Unlimited is how each person can collect at the rarity they like the most.
Outside of Legendary rare cards, everything should be pretty easy to find in 1-2 boxes for base rarity. Moving into Hyperspace and Foil cards will make building a master set harder for sure.

My promo cards were Pringled like the standard mtg ones 😅
Some of our promo leaders were warped and others were straight. Not sure why they were so different, but at least not all the cards come that way.
Leaving the cards in a toploader overnight helped straighten them out for us.
I have never really collected any cards, however this may be one i will start! Id love a Boba Fett

There is no comparison. Fab does some of the best foils. These are garbage, blinding foils that magic and several others do.

I didn't know the showcase cards are also foiled or are there two versions? With or without foil. I thought they would only have a different art. But that's insane.
Showcase leaders have new art and foil on both sides of the card. They are the ultimate collector's hot because it uses full alternative art with a unique foiling! All of the coolest features :D

An Enchanted from Lorcana would’ve been a better representation, In my opinion. Usuing a cold foil is not an real comparison, again, in my personal opinion. Amazing Content nonetheless!!!
We don't have any enchanted cards at home base. They are off getting graded right now.

Don’t love rainbow foil. Makes it look fake like those fake pokemon cards.
Hyperspace non foils look the best imo. Rainbow foil anything is ugly imo 🤢
