Naj is about 6 months into his first position in Australia having passed the AMC Part 1 Examination and is on track to complete his AMC Certificate via the Workplace Based Assessment Pathway.

Hi there, thank you for this informative video. It was quite insightful. I have a few questions though. I have successfully completed AMC MCQ and clinical exam. I am now eligible for provisional registration with AHPRA upon securing an offer of employment. However this is where the difficulty comes in. Do you have any websites or companies that i could look at? can you suggest hospitals that would take doctors eligible for provisional registration? This is where I am stuck, as I dont know who to apply to? I would be grateful for any assistance. Thank you.

1) is getting the first job in the ED or psychiatry and the rotations in general surgery under provisional registration applies for the competent authority pathway too?
2) Is this video applicable for CA pathway too?

Hello Doctor,assuming I come to Australia 🇦🇺 with the competent pathway,do I still need to work at those 4 departments(surgery ,internal medicine,psychiatry and emergency medicine) before I can get a full general registration? Or that applies to standard pathway only

I am wondering whether an MBBS doctor with 8 years of OVERSEAS working experience as "MEDICAL OFFICER" but WITHOUT passing AMC exam will have POINTS for their "overseas work-years" in skill - assessment process or not ?
Sorry immigration points is not my strong suit. You are better off talking to a registered migration agent about this.
