  • Let’s Ride through the coastal hills of Northern Cabo San Lucas Mexico. Exploring the hills, cliffs and even sea caves as well as beautiful beaches. On this ride we used a RadRover electric fat bike as well as a VoltBike mini folding fat ebike. Both offer pedal assist and throttle and can be seen at electricbikereview.com/rad-po... and electricbikereview.com/voltbi...
    This trip and ride were made possible thanks to support from Cabo Adventures, a tourism company specializing in snorkeling, scuba diving, whale watching, camel riding and mountain biking (now with electric bikes) www.cabo-adventures.com/ to make the video easier to explore I’ve created a timestamp index below, our round trip distance was just under four miles (6.4 km):
    1:11 Ride officially begins
    3:34 Double rabbit encounter
    5:40 Soft sand climb
    7:44 Overlook of peak and cave
    8:45 Arrival at secret beach
    10:31 Sunset and crabs
    11:30 Photo and kiss
    14:09 Top of the peak!
    17:39 Splash rocks by the sea
    22:18 Accidental wave ride
    23:52 Seat turtle rescue team
    25:15 Riding with no assist
    28:05 Night riding with lights EBR was paid to perform this review #Sponsored We try to be honest, thorough, and fun! Comparison tools, shop directory, and forums at: ElectricBikeReview.com

    It's good to see Rad bikes doing well on that terrain. A lot of bike stores in our area are bashing the smaller name brand bikes.

    Awesome ride! :) because of you, my wife and I are going to be ordering a Voltbike Yukon 750 in the next month. For the price and what we are looking for, it can't be beat (I like the 12 magnet cadence sensor vs Radrovers 6) I've spent well over a dozen hours watching/reading your reviews. I just wanted to say we all really appreciate all the the time and effort you put into all of this..your passion really shows, thanks again Court :) ride safe 🚴

      Wonderful adventure... the bikes we used are a couple of generations improved since then and I feel that both are great. You can search and see the latest performances on the site electricbikereview.com/

    Hi Court-Awesome adventure again with you and your cutie girl! I view these at work sometimes and really makes my day to see you enjoy the awesome adventures I once did myself back in the day! The guy below made a comment about you being gay, personally I never thought that for a minute about you. I have had many friends throughout the years that were a little effeminate , but would score with the ladies bigtime. The guy is right , your soothing voice and fit perfect for your work. Thanks Court for sharing! You are the best!

    Really enjoyed that! We are going to Cabo next week on a cruise. Won’t be in town long enough to do one of those rides though unfortunately. What camera were you using on your helmet question assume it was a version of GoPro? What model? It worked really really well - even had good sound quality!

    Nice ride. I liked the comparison from using power vs. not on beach, really shows.
    What resort do you stay at there?
    Next time I go to Cabo, will certainly check out the electric bikes!

      Hey Lucas! Glad you caught that, it was difficult to show on video but my legs could totally feel the difference... it seemed nearly impossible to pedal without power. Not sure on the hotel name but it was facing the marina, we were hosted by Cabo Adventures and had a blast going on their bike tour routes with these bikes :D

      Great question, I think they ended up selecting Rad Power Bikes. I didn't make a formal recommendation :)

    Hey couyrt, I got an electric bike with a 48v 1000w DIY kit, and i got a new 48v to 72v 40amp controller and i run it off of SLA batteries 6x 12v 7ah and my bike is suppose to go 40 mph on 72v but it wont go anywhere past 32 mph and goes same speed as on 60v, also i get almost a mile per charge, any ideas what i could do to get the batteries good again, i bought them a few months ago and used to get about 3 to 5 miles per charge @ 30 mph

    • @ElectricBikeReview
      @ElectricBikeReview  7 років тому +1

      Hi Cody, I'm not very experienced with kits and tend to play it safe with batteries to avoid any sort of damage that could result in fire. Not sure what to tell you besides maybe asking the manufacturer or going on a forum like Endless Sphere to ask for help?

    rad mini or volt mariner for NYC commuting ?

    • @ElectricBikeReview
      @ElectricBikeReview  7 років тому

      Hmm... I'd probably go for more of a city bike unless you want the cushion of fat tires and plan to ride in snow or sand. Check these out: electricbikereview.com/category/city/

    When will electric bikes be able to do wheelies at any speed?

    • @ElectricBikeReview
      @ElectricBikeReview  7 років тому

      Here's an ebike that does wheelies electricbikereview.com/stealth/bomber/ it's not so much about speed as torque and rider strength and balance :)

    • @jk-mm5to
      @jk-mm5to 7 років тому

      It is much easier to turn in sand if you can lift your front tire out of the sand and steer with rear. Outstanding channel btw.

    • @jk-mm5to
      @jk-mm5to 7 років тому

      Yes I like the bomber. These things will be way more affordable when supercaps replace lithium batteries.

    Which do you recommend? RadMini or Voltbike Mariner?

    • @ElectricBikeReview
      @ElectricBikeReview  7 років тому

      I like the twist throttle on the RadMini and I think the motor was quieter but my girlfriend liked the trigger throttle and narrower tube on the Mariner. They seemed pretty similar
