I been on phentermine for 5.5 months. With healthy eating and started riding my bike again I've lost 67lbs. Was 44 in the waist and now I'm 36 inch. Feel like a new man. I'm 46 years old. My younger sister had no luck with phentermine? Good luck to all
Wow!! I started Topamax a week and a half ago, and shortly they are going to add phentermine to the mix as well. If you don't mind my asking, how did you begin healthy eating? Was it just portion control, or were you just watching what you were eating entirely? Either way, I'm really happy for you. That sounds so exciting. Congratulations!!! :)
I've been on it for 5 months, 5'2 female 28yo. I have lost 65 lbs aka 28% of my body weight. While calorie counting and walking. My pcp says she is pretty sure I have been her most successful pt on it. From 236 now 170. Aiming for 130. Might stop cutting calories at 140lbs and try to body recomp the last 10lbs off to hit my goal. But, the best thing phentrime has done for me was show me that I can totally lose this weight....plus I have realized that the gym has become a habit.
I was using phentermine for six months and it worked well. Then I started to feel short of breath. I did all the tests and they were all fine, and in the end, through a friend who works in the pharmacy, she told me that phentermine causes shortness of breath due to pressure on the lungs. Using it for more than three months harms the lungs, and to this day I suffer from a sore throat and shortness of breath, especially at night.
My doctor just put me on this today. I made lifestyle changes over a span of 7 years after having my daughter. Cut out all soda and added sugar. (Meaning if I made it myself I didnt add any sugar I used alulose instead) using buckwheat instead of white flour, riced and mashed cauliflower instead of rice and potatoes, if we eat red meat it is game meat. Otherwise its chicken or turkey. No root veggies just beans or leafy greens. My husband has lost 20lbs. I have held steady at 245 despite becoming disabled and having medication that normally causes weight gain. The doctor said the reason I probably havent gained is because of the changes I've made and they are probably also why I'm not diabetic. I'm already on topomax ER for chronic migraines. He's hopi g adding the phentermine will help me start losing.

Hello ! I've been on it almost a month and im down 15lbs and I was wondering if I can crush my phentermine pill instead of swallowing it whole? Im always having issues swallowing it. I take the 37.5 pill not the capsule
Hi! I started taking the phentermine 37.5 capsules, but I wanted to take half of the pill instead of the whole. Is it possible to split a phentermine capsule? I'm asking because yesterday morning I took the whole pill, and I was sweating like crazy last night. I have taken half of phentermine 37.5 (the tablet not capsule) 2 years ago and lost 40lbs in 3 months, but I went cold turkey and just ate healthy my whole journey. But this year I started gaining weight because of stress and I started eating carbs once a week. So this time I'm thinking of eating healthy but also eating some carbs so my body doesn't just get used to healthy foods. That way I can continue to keep the weight off after 3 months of taking phentermine.
