Really miss the old days, late 90’s nu skool breaks, the breakbeat show on the then good kiss 100 fm radio station here in the U.K. those days & your breakbeat show back then literally got me through many years off depression. Even at the grand old age of 53 still loving the breaks. You were the one that got me into breakbeat, I would love it if you came back to marine parade in Brighton U.K. & kicked off a whole new breakbeat scene, I’m sure many other artists would be on board, I can only hope but realise you have on moved on to great things, haven’t heard from you in a long time, still listen to techtonics album mix from back in the day, been listening to a fair bit of joe wink on broken essence playing up to date breaks & which some of it reminds me of the some of the breakbeat from the nu skool breaks era scene of the very late 90’s just really feels nostalgic listening back to that early breaks, never managed to go to fabric back then but still absolutely freaking love breakbeat. Have listened to your later stuff over the years and would just love to see a total breakbeat revival especially here in the U.K. and not just elsewhere such as Florida and likes. All the best Adam, u were and still are a great inspiration and were the one who got me into breakbeat in the first place back in I would say 98-99. All the best dude, Long live the breaks 👍👍👍
@@trancecoa I think I may of missed that one, not too sure, can’t really remember it. I remember listening to various Adam freeland mixes on BBC Radio 1 and Kiss 100 fm radio stations, you have a better memory than I do lol. Despite having various personal health problems during this time, those days were epic and you could listen to all of this on the radio when BBC Radio 1 and Kiss 100 Fm were actually really good. I would stick in the cassette tape and press play & record, had so many recordings on cassette tapes and wished I had kept them all. The late 90’s were great and the whole nu skool breaks scene was exciting and remember when Adam’s costal breaks album fist came out, love to go back to those times. I also remember listening to Danny macmillan and Tom Middleton on the breakbeat show on kiss 100, I listened to breakbeat from then up to say around 2003 when I think the breakbeat scene kind of went a little bit stale sounding and kind of went off on a different tangent but remember listening to Tayo during this time, I think it picked up again later on during the mid 2000 to late 2000’s. Feeling very nostalgic talking about this lol, absolutely loved it. All the best.

Adam, maestro of contemporary break-beats, thank you. Another incredible mix of yours to have on loop. And such a worthy cause. Hope to see you playing to an audience someday soon. Cheers from Toronto
When I'm making music I often feel heavily influenced by a sound or style and then I listen to an Adam Freeland mix and always remember and realise rhe best music just comes from the individual or group who are speaking for themselves and not trying to be anyone else. Your music and mixes always keep me true and help me enjoy music for how it makes me feel rather than how many clicks, upvotes or likes it has. Your Back to Mine has been an album I can play to people of any musical taste and they totally enjoy it as every track is just so sincere and shows how different genres can sit side by side and sync. Bravo.
A legend with another on point mix, and a tracklist to boot!. 2.8k listens (as ofearly March 2021) oughta be 100x that. Pople don't know what they're missing. Mega-thanks. p.s. classic speakers in the background--what make and model?
Adam, much respect for your art. Man sent out a message. I want you to know man received it. Feel/vibe/groove A lot of words have been used to describe your mojo here. I’ll encompass it by saying , I hear your wind chimes in the air.
This is Grade A prime Freeland artistry. Been ages since I last heard what he’s been up to but this really hits right at the heart. Said it years ago and will say it again… always spot on. One of the best!

i got nostalgic about my (in-pandemic days) where my beloved restaurant was shut down and i got paid a lot to sit at the pc. i did enough tabs to make 30 ppl insane. now we (the restaurant) are back, going strong and i'm working hours and miles that would scare a person to even try. at 38 that's kcuffing impressive. but now i've got to a man about a horse, and hopefully i'll have a trip as good as me and the roommate's dog being the mayor and duke of "meat-town" and bullying patricians for more meat lololol
