Thank you, Manny. Found your channel only two weeks ago or so and now I can't stop watching. What I appreciate is that you are teaching in a more calm and natural way, much better than so many hysterical channels out there.

Loved the way Manny placed the camera for himself. The window rims create a shadow that leads to his face. Also the top of his chair is angled in alignment with the leading line of shadow. And perfection lies in how he opens the curtains to create the backlight which is symmetrical about his head location. Small details which make even a simple setup look appealing.

Another tip is to setup a layer with 50% grey and color blending mode to make a greyscale version of the image. Gets rid of the distraction of color when you are only trying to smooth out tones. Ill usually also use a curves layer and bump up the highlights a bit and then bring down the shadows a bit just to really see what is going on.

Appreciate your honest remarks. I currently purchase this camera and learning it's features and capabilities. However, I am so use to using a trigger autofocus beam to assist in low light as I shoot alot of events night clubs etc. I notice my third party lens block the on board af lamp and haven't found any trigger that works, not even Nikon's own flash doesn't work when it comes to the focus assist lamp. Any suggestions to over come this obstacle, because I really enjoy this camera coming from the d750. Thanks

    Hey!
I've been watching all of your videos since last month.
Mostly because I am going to purchase an A6500.
    Wasnt subscribed until now.
But man you put a lot of effort in these videos and it is highly appreciable.
    Subscribed and liked.
    .
    P.S - My question is :
I am picking up the FE85mm for my A6500.will it be a good choice.
I dont care about the focal length.
Just want to know if the image quality is sharper than 50mm 1.8?
    Regards
