Hi Vernee - I must say you look absolutely marvelous! I'm so impressed with you and all you've done. I remember when you worked with my son Rais Wilson. He was considered the "clown prince" in his class because he was cutting up - his dad was Lou Wilson of MANDRILL - so he had a tendency to be precocious. We first became aware of his interest in acting when he was at the tender age of 9, but in Hollywood, you have to have some training and perhaps an agent to be considered. We searched for quite some time for some one to work with him. I remember coming across your post in one of the local community papers. When I saw your name, I said "that can't be the same person" - but it was. When I spoke with you to set up the initial appointment, you were so gracious. And he learned so much from you. He had his homework, which he took very seirously. You were so marvelous, positive and supportive. He developed his sense of discipline from you I am totally enjoying this visual autobiographic!! I remember you had to curtail the class because you had auditioned for a show (don't remember which) and had been picked up for it. I'm making sure he sees this video. He will get such a kick out of it. He's done some stage and some videos - managed to do one Cosby Show as a possible love interest for Vanessa (someone else got the role, though). Yes, love her since she was a teen model and was on cover of SEVENTEEN Magazine. In the 80s she became Will Smith’s mother on Fresh Prince of Belair. Loved her for many, many years and great to see her. Love your home style and decor!

That was Excellent Interview with Vernee Watson!!! I grew up in Taft Projects in 1365 Fifth Avenue, My Mom use Vernee house to visit her Mother Mrs Watson ( Ophelia)
She used to shop at my wifes health food store and was nice when I met her but the next time I saw her she was rude and acted like she better than anybody...was sad because I was a fan oh well..
