Because of the RENT play that you didn't see, it didn't matter after all, but I feel like if you thought ENTERA was its only way of blocking your out bingos, playing the T for two fewer points above the O in ZOEA would've been a better move than extending FE to FET, because after ENTERA, the I in VIBE is the only remaining Q spot.
Good point, I was too fixated on being incredulous that nothing actually played after ENTERA that I didn't consider the Q stick possibility... like you said though wouldn't have mattered after RENT
@@Fexghadi if you already don't see RENT it's not an "easy" block. i think RENT/RONT is the only play that blocks both spots, it just also blocks LAMINATE.
tie would've been awesome. only play i didn't really like was cupids. too many 5 letter plays from the c to the triple word score that cancel out your points, plus it's a really big opening for the h. capsid seems much better to me, though i also like keeping the s with both m's unseen for the potential feudalism hook.
What happens after IT/TO 6J? If you block one of the QI spots, it looks to me like the bot is forced to Q-stick itself if it wants to block. Is that still not enough?
I'm surprised there wasn't a way to win by fishing with (I)T/T(O) to block one of the two Q spots left after RENT or ENTER(A). Does it outrun the Q-stick after blocking AILMENT and LAMIN(A)TE?
After RENT, the bot can also play F13 Q(AT) in addition to H7 Q(I), so the Q stick won't work. Though the Q-stick is possible after ENTER(A)! I was screaming at Mack to play (I)T/T(O), but realized that it wouldn't work a bit after RENT came down.
NITWIT is stupidly wild!
I feel like a nitwit for not spotting the best pre-endgame play!
Same!

i was thinking along these lines too and thought mack should play TAT at f13 to block ENTERA.
@@wfchannel4673 Which blocks the LAMINATE line, leaving the bot an easy time blocking AILMENT in columns B and C

Crazy pre end game. Nitwit for the tie would have been epic!
I would actually play DUI/VIBED. It's true you don't have a T, but you do have a blank and DUI gives you a really decent leave

Yeah CAPSID is definitely better there... also would've really liked to keep the S, just hated plays like DAP that did. Annoyingly tough position!

That's true after ENTERA, but if it plays RENT as it did in the game, it still has QAT at F13.

Oh true, good spot
Mack, do you treat these bots as though they're equivalent to Nigel Richards?
More or less, I definitely assume they're never going to miss a play or make a mistake in the endgame
@@mackmeller They don't seem to be as inventive as Rigel in regards to creating creative setups which you will be reacting and reactive tos*.
Wild endgame.
Isn't ALIMENT and TWIT a word?!?
Yes but it just gets blocked
Laying in bed dying from a cold, perfect timing for some sparring against bestbot 🫶
Eek, feel better!
