That breck lifty jacket is next level bro 😎. The snow carny gargoyles will drop straight to their knees and drain you as soon as you walk into Cecilia’s
Cece's has an age limit after 10pm and I am too old now.
@@AngrySnowboarder those vile ravenous gargoyles swoop down from the rafters for a shot of jager just make sure you double wrap then clean 🧽 up afterwards with gasoline , a wire brush and a shot of penicillin bro 😎
As someone who learned at Stevens pass and called it my home mountain for years it’s a damn tragedy what has happened. Stevens has some great terrain. Last 4 years I have opted for Baker season pass. Yea I have always preferred Bakers mega pow days and back country access but I do miss Hollywood bowl and ripping Stevens
I didn't even go once to Stevens this season. Not one Vail affiliated resort this entire year. It's hard to take a stand like this, but it's the only way to affect any change.
Makes two of us!
iKon absolutely bent crystal riders over with no grease for the 22/23 season. The pass went from unlimited days to 7.
what?? WTF?????? 7 DAYS????? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@jesusfreak3587 yep. I did 20+ days last year so it's really gonna suck this season since I can't afford to travel
Are you unable to get the Crystal season pass?
@@noahtodd9524 I could but the price of that went from under $1000 to $1700. Can't afford that big of a up pricing
What's the difference between Unlimited day's and 7 day's a week ?
Who pays for a full day pass for 1hr of slope time
Right?
Smart people
The lack of ability to draw workers due to the Late TP was a huge Vail. I'm a kook ass tourist. I shouldn't know who Tom Pettigrew was, what his phone number was, or that his car was plowed in immediately after he was fired. Although, that last bit is just a hilarious rumor.... maybe.
Hopefully they can uncluster the particular fuck of the housing issue by re-opening the old employee lodge.
Left WA for ID, got out the same year they switched Crystal from unlimited to 7 days on ikon. I get why they did it, Steven’s was so mismanaged it was starting to crush Summit/Alpental and Crystal. WA laws making it literally impossible for any of their resorts to expand terrain doesn’t help. I do miss Baker and Mission, and will have to return at some point to hit the resorts i missed (White pass, Loup Loup, Hurricane, Bluewood and 49). WA folks, consider the smaller resorts, they have a lot of soul.
Vail owned resorts sounds scary. I don't have high hopes riding Whistler this season.
was your mind blown?
Whistler has improved over the recent years since Vail took over. It is nearly back to its original self.
It's been ten years of autorenew and this year epic isn't getting pass money from me. I want to ride breck with my friends , but not the 900,000 new friends I didn't want. There's not even fucking handicapped spots to park.
So you're coming to Copper?
@@AngrySnowboarder yessir.
Probably getting an Indy or Loveland pass as well. With all the powder alliance resorts (or whatever they called em) those are both decent small mountain collective type passes.
I have personally been to stevens at night. Their night tickets are not full price. More like 50 bucks.
Stevens Pass Instructor here, reporting in :)
I probably wouldn’t boast about that
@@COCOMELKABLE probably wasn't me in the review
Still wouldn't wear that job title as a badge of honor.
@@AngrySnowboarder honestly though most staff deserve a fucking purple heart for what fail resorts has put us through
Side tracked question but need an honest opinion. Size 10.5 thirty two boots. Should I ride union force medium or larges?
I think large.
Try them both on and you go buy fit and what feels right not buy what somebody teel's you and there is no such thing as, medium or large.
PARK BACK TO BROOKS! Left after vail took over, it sucks because its probably the best all around resort in the area.
They did.
@@banzaimf I know, just playing haha
I don't even know where Steven's Pass is, and I'll probably never go. Just can't stop watching Angrysnowboarder vids
Steven's Pass is the steepest resort in the state of Washington and their terrain is incredible especially on a Deep Powder Day.
I was laughing when finding out brand new skier buys a full day ticket to only ski 1 hour. Maybe a follower of Buckhouse did it. Only an idiot would spend $1500 to go go to a bro camp in summer sports that he admits to not be an expert in. Save the $1500 to go on a trip out west next year instead.
Man BroCamp is some cult level MLM shit.
I had to look this up and still can't believe it is a real product that people are paying for
Stevens was awesome for decades. I can't go, or do it anymore. Too busy., like you said the growing area, over advertised, and yeah now with everyone not working there anymore..Now I go to Baker.
Personally I think Baker's better on a pow day.
If Baker was closer it would definitely get my money over crystal mt. The ikon pass went from unlimited days to 7.
I live in BC and Ive been wanting to go to Baker for a while
Pay parking at crystal is a joke not to mention reservations during peak season but they don't get half the bad rap that Stevens does.
You only have to pay if your by yourself also they offer a shuttle service up the mountain
@@sjmonty19 still sucks I also blame the gondola for the scenic lifties who need to get there Instagram selfies with Rainier
@@justinmuir9163 facts thats part of the reason I'm moving, also the resorts can't legally expand their boundaries so they are fucked
@@sjmonty19 wish you the best in your move.
@@justinmuir9163 thanks man I hope idaho is the place to be and best of luck in washington
Seattle people should definitely got to crystal it always rains at baker
No it always does not rain at Baker, YOU'RE WRONG !
Right over your head😂 locals only go home.
Are you going to continue the best worst reviews series?
Eventually.
Crystal was still the best run resort near Seattle by far last year. Snoqualmie and Stevens were (and always are) far worse in every way. Crystal is the only one that runs most lifts most days. Night and day better compared to the others.
@@KarenActivator1000 Biggest problem with white pass it's just super far way. 410 is closed during the winter so you have to take I-5 down to 12. It's 3 hours minimum drive. I'm 35 minutes from Snoqualmie and 75 minutes from Crystal... So I'm just not going there. If you're closer than that it's a good option.
Crystal pricing is brutal though. Almost double that of Snoqualmie. Then again, I've never been so... maybe it is twice as good. I'll have to see if I can swing it this season.
I was at Snoqualmie last season. It wasn’t bad tbh. Had fun. But I guess this comes from a tourist kook so my opinion might differs from locals that know how those resorts were before. Going to Stevens pass this season. I’m already regretting it but oh well. Gota make the best out of it.
The problem with Stevens Pass, the employee housing issues. Often it is wet and miserable. Then you Have to drive an hour and a half home. There are over 200 buildable properties right around Stevens Pass, and the only thing stopping them from houses is over regulation and nimby property owners. These properties are only a mile away.
1st of all, there is such a thing as EMPLOYEE BUS SERVICE so you don't have to drive your vehicle up to Steven's Pass 5 day's a week.Iv'e worked Steven's Pass 14 year's and I have NEVER EVER had any problems with EMPLOYEE HOUSING but if there is a problem then you need to get ahold of DAN,HE RUN'S EMPLOYEE ------NOW just because there's vacant lot's around or alot of open land doesn't mean it's up for grabs and you have to worry about the price of land and what County it's on, the EPA, Forest Service Land. And as the Employee Housing being Wet and Miserable, I don't know where your coming from unless there's a plumbing leak somewhere in the building..
You should come ride in Europe... American resorts don't sound too fun
Or hear me out, I can stay in my community and ride my resorts and be happy.
@@AngrySnowboarder Fair enough. have fun and keep doing you
All true I heard crystal is better.
Yeah, Steven’s sucks don’t go! 😅
You wouldn't say that on a DEEP POWDER DAY
Yeah Stevens suck don't go.
