Massive Mako Hooked on Fly Gear Off San Diego

Fishing with Capt. Conway Bowman, my friend Nick Curcione hooked and fought a mako shark estimated at over 450lbs on fly gear. It took over an hour of teasing before we could get the fish to take the fly, then we fought it for another hour before we decided to break it off.
