- I used Dollar Tree Food Storage bins to organize my craft room! I have been tackling the project of cleaning and decluttering my home this summer and today I worked in the craft room. I focused on a bookcase in my craft room that desperately needed to be organized! I am SO happy with how it looks!

I've been cleaning out my spare room...slowly but surely. It has taken me a while, but seeing the progress makes me feel better. I need to clean my garage and building next, but I dread it. 💖
Looks so nice and organized. Great job. Labeling the boxes made the area look even nicer!! You really should be proud of yourself for pushing through working on decluttering/organizing! We sure are! ❤
I love that you're a very honest person and share part of you. I have followed you for quite some time. I have a 24 year old special needs daughter that has to be taken care of 24/7. Summer, we have a lot of gap in staffing. I do the overnight, and my wonderful husband on the weekends does the day our son fills in if we need to go somewhere. We used to have a 7 bedroom 3 bathroom house last summer we knew living in Minnesota and the bad storms we get the chair rail wouldn't work because I had back surgery and knee replacement I just couldn't lift a 113 pound adult anymore my studio was in one of upstairs bedrooms, my parents lived us from 2016 my father passed in 2020 at 81 my mother passed in 2022 at 94 my parents were 11 years difference in age. I had purge the upstairs to put in an elevator and knock the 3 walls out so as my friends call it her own apartment. As construction went on, everything got pushed to the basement. Ok so where am I going with this I haven't crafted in a year all my craft supplies are boxed up it will be like christmas as I unbox everything omce again I had to hurry and get it done but now when I needed to make a few cards I bought a few things I already knew I had that is what upsets me starting tomorrow I will be starting to organize my things a may take a few weeks but I learned alot from you tips and tricks to organize. I live at the dollar tree. Just to live on a budget I love thrift stores and garage sales. I found on the market place a display peg board floor model that turns a going out of business sale for $10. Keep up these video's not only is it good for you to talk to us but it is good for me to listen to you. have a blessed day. 😊
Great job! I love seeing the labeled bins stacked! I use those containers for my washi tape, stickers, highlighters, and post it notes. Now I plan to label them! 😁
Absolutely wonderful organization I am so motivated by how you did your organization i have everything mixed with things that don't go together but I will get to doing it thank you for being so inspiring.
I’m working with sorting and organising my craft items. 3 yrs ago I was paralysed from waist down, I went from being able to look after myself to needing carers and we had to move house. I used to have a separate craft room but sadly I have to use the spare room for me and my hospital equipment/bed etc. so I now have to downsize my crafting to fit in our new lounge! It’s a long road and I’m having to really think about what crafting I want to do and keep. Trying to find the best storage solutions for the space I’m working with isn’t easy. I’m also having to label everything so I can get my husband to find it and get it out for me, so it’s very tricky here, I’m working through a garage of boxes!
My dad fitted some extra shelves on the walls, to give me space to store bits.
Im loving your videos and suggestions. It definitely is best taking a day at a time, little by little, we will all get there with it. A little encouragement and positive thinking goes a long way too.

I like the large labels. To me, being to easily see the words on the bins is very helpful. I have all of my Christmas and Fall decor in the large totes and I have big 8 1/2 x 11 signs inside the totes with a Christmas or a Fall image so I can easily see if it's for Fall or Christmas. On the side I write what's in the bin. Great job!

Love this! The bouncy balls might make good rewards for your students.
This video has inspired me to straighten out my craft supplies. I believe I have the same shelves. A tip for the shelves, if they start to bow from the weight, flip them over before it gets too bad. They will be a little off but will eventually flatten out.

I love what you did I have been doing my sewing room. My solution for your finding the missing bin is to look for something else and it will turn up. My daughter always says look left of the middle.

I use photo boxes that I bought back when they were on sale and much cheaper, instead of your plastic containers. Am going to either alphabetize them or number them and keep an alphabetized list of what number box to look in. Have about 130 of them (with labels) on bookshelves, and really tired of having to look for the right box. We all need to look for the best way that works for us. Happy organizing! 😊

Shelves look great! And you purged some of the excess. Great job! Purging is a constant process lol I love all the crafty things and it’s so hard to part with some things. However, once you start - it gets easier to let things go and it feels so good to clear the clutter!

Great job Kieran! I would maybe alphabetize things the boxes so they are easier to find . Or at least alphabetize them with a grouping...like keep things close together that are in the same theme or category. For instance :colored pencils, with markers, pencils, pens, etc.

I'm always working on decluttering 😂 I have a small house, so it's a continuous to do because me and the hubby tend to hold on to a lot of things we think we need.

I am a retired teacher. I used the tiles for sorting and counters in math. I also used them with sound boxes instead of pennies in reading groups.

You’re doing a great job! I’m halfway through organizing and donating my craft room supplies….I got rid of three large trash bags full and I’m sure there’s more, but I have the terrible fear of getting rid of something and then I will want/need it later on, I guess it’s my anxiety or OCD that keeps me from finishing it. One day at a time!

Thanks for you your inspiring video. My “craft cave” is now looking more like a “crap room”. I can’t even craft in there due to lack of space! I was supposed to lock myself in there today, but didn’t. 😂
I have 2 metal shelves from Home Depot full of things. Unfortunately, I don't have a craft room. Our classroom was moved from one campus to another 2 years ago, and they were giving away things in the lounge. I got 3 large bins for free. I was able to put most of the craft items in them. I found 6 glue guns. After lunch, I'm going to organize my school stuff. I'm getting rid of some items. Early this week, I organized my clothes and home decor by season in big bins and put them on the shelves. They are outside since I don't have room inside under the carport.
