If this guy can perfectly explain in 6 minutes what my teacher can barely explain in 75 minutes, then math teachers are doing it wrong.

I'm actually in love with Vividmaths! These video's are amazing! You've made everything so simple and easy! I was able to teach everyone in my class the way you've explained it and helped the majority of my class get A/A*'s in our mocks!
Love and thanks Vividmaths fan :)

    Squareroot overall then
    (17*+20*)-(2(17)(20))cos(48)

I barely understood this from my tutor but he explains really well.
I wonder how he knows all the answers without using a calculator!!
    Super smart, lol.

  • @Pandorarl

I would still like a reason why the second part of the formula is as it is.
My thought process is that since the first part is the pythagorean theorem of a right hand triangle then the second part must be the difference of the length if the right angle triangle would be less degrees. The cosine we can use to find the influence a vector on an angle has on another, but I'm still not sure about where exactly where the multiplication of the two other sides come in (2bc)

focus on the procedure and use your calculator to do the rest. make sure your calculator is programmed to degrees and not radians. He may have rounded off the value.
